Responsibilities
Facilitate and manage the input of client data into the firm’s case management systemReview and audit input data to ensure compliance, completeness, and accuracyDraft, review, and file pleadings, motions, and other litigation documentsHandle replevin actions, including drafting pleadings, managing case timelines, and coordinating with law enforcement or court officers when applicableAssist with foreclosure and eviction case preparation and document managementManage electronic court filings (e-filing) in applicable jurisdictionsTrack deadlines, hearing dates, and court schedules to ensure complianceAssist with onboarding new clients and maintaining client filesRespond to client inquiries and provide status updates on active mattersSupport attorneys with hearing preparation, trial preparation, and file organizationReview documents for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with court rulesTrain new team members on internal processes and case management proceduresCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient case progression
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or Paralegal Certificate required2+ years of experience as a Litigation ParalegalExperience in foreclosure, replevin, or eviction litigation preferredDemonstrated experience handling replevin actions, including drafting pleadings and managing timelinesProficiency in case management software, Microsoft Office, and electronic court filing systemsStrong understanding of legal terminology, litigation procedures, and court rulesAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-volume environmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to interact with clients and team members with professionalism and courtesyAbility to work independently and collaborativelyHigh level of organization and attention to detailAbility to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretionDemonstrated commitment to professionalism and willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic environment
