What You’ll Do:
Provide support in preschool classrooms (ages 2–5) during our morning programAssist lead teachers with routines, activities, and transitionsEnsure a safe, nurturing, and structured environmentBuild positive relationships with children, families, and colleaguesWhat We’re Looking For:

Our substitutes support classrooms serving children ages 2–5 in a warm, play-based, faith-centered environment where children feel loved, engaged, and excited to learn.
What You'll Do
Step into classrooms as needed to support children ages 2–5.Maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.Follow classroom routines and lesson plans provided by the Lead Teacher.Support children's learning through play, exploration, and positive interactions.Assist with classroom activities, transitions, meals, outdoor play, and daily routines.Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow staff members.Help ensure classrooms remain organized, clean, and welcoming.What We're Looking For
A warm, positive, and patient attitude with a genuine love for young children.Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working with different age groups and classroom teams.Experience working with children (preschool, childcare, nannying, camps, babysitting, teaching, or similar experience) preferred.High school diploma required.CDA, 45-hour Florida Child Care Training, or early childhood coursework is a plus (or willingness to obtain required training if applicable).Ability to actively supervise young children and meet the physical requirements of the position.Why You'll Love Working Here

What You'll Do
• Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate learning experiences
• Foster a joyful, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Partner closely with your assistant teacher to lead daily routines and classroom activities
• Observe children's growth and communicate regularly with families
• Maintain an organized, welcoming, and developmentally appropriate learning space
Qualifications
• Experience leading a preschool classroom preferred
• Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred
• CDA or willingness to obtain within 12 months
• Florida 45-hour Child Care Training or willingness to complete within 12 months
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Eligible through the DCF Fingerprinting Clearinghouse
• Passion for early childhood education and nurturing young children
• Dependable, positive, collaborative team player
Position Details

Schedule: Monday–Friday, daytime hours
Pay: $17–22 per hour, based on education, credentials, and experience
