    Sloomoo’s universe has expanded - there are now a total of 5 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia) with more to come.


    MiniMoos are smaller than the Institutes but packed with as much color, surprise, and play.


    The brand has been featured in People Magazine, Vogue, the Today Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show, the Tamron Hall Show, Forbes, INC, and more.

    Position Summary

    The Experience Lead is a hands-on, guest-facing floor leader who helps bring the Sloomoo experience to life every day. Working closely with the Assistant General Manager (AGM) and General Manager (GM), this role provides real-time support, coaching, and oversight of the hourly team while driving service excellence across every station.

    This is not a behind-the-scenes role. The Experience Lead is present, energized, and leading by example—from guiding guests with enthusiasm to training Slimetenders, ensuring breaks, addressing challenges, and reporting daily insights to management.

    You will be key to upholding Sloomoo’s values:

    Responsibilities:

    Act as the shift leader when AGM/GM are offsite or focused elsewhere; manage 30-40 hourly team members on shift.

    Take personal responsibility for presentation and experience standards across the site.

    Deliver and elevate guest experiences across all zones; troubleshoot issues quickly with a calm, joyful tone

    Continually support and challenge the teams to maintain and improve the overall experience, championing developments that have a positive impact on the visit. Communicate with leadership regarding staff coaching opportunities.

    Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with relevant leadership teams.

    Champion all requirements relating to accessibility including physical facilities and staff training, and delivery and improvements across the site.

    Represent the guest Experience team in meetings and committees as assigned.

    In conjunction with the General Manager, control labor spend to ensure we are maintaining front of house (FOH) labor budgets to set standards.

    Support marketing efforts through videos, pictures, stories etc.

    Report any issues, including written incident reports at the end of the shift.

    Support the Manager on Duty on delivering top of the class birthday parties, events & groups visits.

    Lead by example displaying the expectation of the team through your actions.

    Aware of the needs of the team and providing training, support, breaks when necessary.

    Ensure that safety is the top priority at all times.

    Other responsibilities as assigned by managers.

    Qualifications:

    Experience of operational management within a guest-facing operation including hotels, restaurants/food & beverage, entertainment operations, museums, live events or similar (required).

    Excellent time management and organizational skills.

    Excellent communication skills and a friendly and approachable manner with staff from across the organization, ensuring good working relationships.

    Ability to engage with colleagues in a diplomatic manner, with firmness where necessary.

    Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack, Project Management systems.

    Energetic, perceptive, confident problem solver with a good sense of humor.

    Able to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.

    Minimum age: 18 years.

    Position Summary

    The role of Porter is critical to the success of Sloomoo. The porters will work under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor and in collaboration with the Managers on Duty, and assist with the physical upkeep and maintenance of the facility. The ideal candidate is a highly capable and dedicated team member who is able to fulfill basic building and attraction maintenance work as well as maintain the cleanliness and upkeep of the facility. Porters keep the venue and production areas clean, safe, and in mint condition.

    Responsibilities:

    Cleaning & Facility Upkeep

    Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors across all areas of the facilityClean and sanitize high-touch surfaces, work areas, windows, and mirrorsMaintain cleanliness and organization of all guest-facing and back-of-house spacesClean, sanitize, and fully stock restrooms throughout shiftsRemove trash and recycling regularly and maintain waste areasKeep janitorial closets clean, organized, and properly stocked

    Light Maintenance & Repairs

    The Slime Packer at Sloomoo plays a crucial role in our mission to deliver innovative and high-quality slime products to our customers.     Responsibilities:

    Execute all phases of slime production, adhering to predetermined recipes and design specifications.

    Learn all facets of Slime production, including mixing, molding, stickering and packing.

    Conduct quality control checks to maintain product consistency and identify potential issues.

    Efficiently package finished slime products, ensuring they are ready for distribution. Label products accurately according to company and regulatory standards.

    Position Summary


    The mixer plays a vital role at Sloomoo Institute, responsible for preparing and mixing slime for various exhibits, events, and guest experiences. This role combines creativity, customer service, and product knowledge to deliver high-quality, enjoyable slime experiences that captivate visitors.


    Responsibilities:

    Slime Preparation: Mix and prepare different types of slime according to Sloomoo’s recipes and specifications. Ensure consistency, texture, and quality of the slime products.

    Exhibit Support: assist in setting up and maintaining slime-related exhibits and installations. Help to ensure that all materials are stocked and ready for visitor engagement.

    Quality Control: Regularly inspect slime supplies for quality and safety, ensuring all materials meet institute standards. Troubleshoot and address any issues with slime consistency or guest satisfaction.

    Event Assistance: Support in organizing slime-making events, workshops, and special activities. Provide hands-on support for groups and ensure smooth execution of events.

    Health and Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols when handling materials and equipment. Ensure that guests can interact with Slime in a clean, safe, and enjoyable environment.

    Tracking a log of the number of batches, clays, scents, pigments (raw materials) properly.

    Tracking Slime materials daily/weekly and filling out the proper sheets/logs.

    Ensuring and checking the experience slimes, conduct Routine Checks of slimes throughout the exhibit to ensure quality, texture and presentation.

    Additional duties as assigned.


    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly throughout the shift.

    Perform physically demanding production tasks including pushing, pulling, and moving heavy materials and equipment.

    Remain on feet for extended periods in a fast-paced production environment.

    Maintain constant movement between workstations to support workflow efficiency.

    Assist with transporting bulk ingredients, slime batches, and production supplies safely and efficiently.

    Support overall warehouse-style and hands-on manufacturing operations requiring stamina and strength.

    Ability to safely climb a ladder to access and retrieve Products stored at height.


    Qualifications:

    Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment. A love for creativity and tactile experiences is a plus.

    Ability to follow detailed slime recipes and instructions with precision to achieve consistent, high-quality products.

    Previous experience in recipe-based production environments strongly preferred, including:

    Specialty coffee shops or craft beverage programs

    Bakeries, pastry shops, or cookie production

    The role of Porter is critical to the success of Sloomoo. The porters will work under the direction of the Facilities Supervisor and in collaboration with the Managers on Duty, and assist with the physical upkeep and maintenance of the facility.
