The CNC Machinist will be responsible for operating and setting up lathe, milling machines, and multi-axis machining centers in a mass production environment. This role involves ensuring precision in machining processes through blueprint reading, quality inspection, and troubleshooting. The machinist will work primarily with manual programming, modifying existing CNC programs as needed while adhering to company-specific and general workshop safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Set up CNC machines including lathe, milling, and multi-axis centersOperate pre-programmed CNC machines efficiently and safelyRead and interpret blueprints to ensure machining accuracyPerform quality inspections to meet production standardsModify existing CNC programs within manual programming constraintsFollow company-specific and general workshop safety protocolsTroubleshoot machine issues to minimize downtime
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in CNC machining
