    Ski T echnicians are the face of Ski Butlers. At its core, our technicians interact with customers daily by delivering equipment rentals to their accommodations, complet ing on-mountain support service and pick ing up gear at the end of their rental period .     Primary Responsibilities

    Delivery: C ompleting scheduled and reactive ski/snowboard rental fittings while focusing on our three Key Customer Requirements :
    KCR #1: On Time - A rriving within 5 minutes of the agreed upon time
    KCR #2: Communication - S etting clear expectations around the entire scope of service
    KCR #3: Equipment - C hoosing the right equipment for each guest given their skills and current conditions at the resort
    Support: P rovide equipment support to our guests within 45 minutes
    Pickup: A ll scheduled returns are brought back to the shop, sanitized, re-stickered and tuned for their next use
    Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and fuel levels
    Packing orders for future delivery
    Setting up the next shift and future team members for success

    Secondary Responsibilities

    Basic ski/snowboard tuning, waxing and general equipment maintenance
    Making/Answering customer phone calls with a positive and inviting tone of voice
    Restocking delivery vehicles with extra equipment

    About the role:

    Team leaders (aka shift managers) are responsible for upholding Ski Butlers customer service standards while managing the flow of day-to-day operations. No two days are the same as a team leader! Adapting to the environment, managing expectations and leading by example are all qualities of highly effective leadership, especially in this role.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Opening and closing the shop daily
    Pre and post shift team meetings, ensuring each Ski Technician understands expectations and responsibilities for that shift.
    Plan delivery routes, support calls and pickups for the current and upcoming shift.
    Respond to customer phone calls, text messages, emails and voicemails in a timely manner.
    Dispatch ski technicians on reactive support calls
    Ensuring brand standards are being met daily i.e.: uniforms, vans, equipment, shop cleanliness, etc.
    Setting up the next shift for success

    Secondary Responsibilities:

    Sizing guests in the proper equipment for orders as they come into our system
    Schedule work assignments for the following shift.
    Real-time feedback and coaching, both positive and constructive, to ensure we are meeting our Key Customer Requirements
    Assisting labor management during slow periods
    Taking reservations and issuing refunds

    Our Culture:

While working in small teams of passionate skiers / riders, each shop facilitates tons of fun in and outside of work as a team, all while earning more money than working in a typical ski shop. Culture is King at Ski Butlers, which is why we work hard to create a positive and hard working environment for our team members, allowing them to get their work done quickly and efficiently, which translates to more time spent on the mountains.

    Ski Technicians' work shifts combine multiple responsibilities, always keeping the job fresh, fun and changing daily. Core responsibilities include interacting with our customers by delivering equipment rentals to their accommodations, offering our support service throughout their stay and picking up equipment after their final day on the mountain. No prior experience is required.

    The Shifts:
    Full-time Ski Technicians will work 5 shifts per week - Start date is 12/4/23 at latest Full time is considered a minimum of 32 hours per week. We are also hiring for part time positions for this role AM shift 630am-230pm / PM shift 2pm-10pm. Our schedule allows you to get out skiing/riding any day you want to!
    Compensation:
    Full-time Ski Technicians have a base wage of $18/hour, plus tips. For the 22/23 season, average wage including credit card tips (excluding cash tips pocketed) was between $25 - $33 per hour. All full time Ski Technicians will receive a ski pass on their start date. To receive this pass you must work a minimum of 32 hours a week. 401K benefit and match for ALL staff members over 21 years old
    On-Road Responsibilities:
    Deliver ski/snowboard rentals and accessories to our customers' accommodations, getting the guest excited about their ski trip by focusing on our Key Customer Requirements: On Time: Arrive five minutes earlier than the agreed upon time. Equipment: Choose the right equipment for each guest in the best condition. Communication: Set clear expectations around the entire scope of service. Provide equipment support to our guests throughout their stay. Pickup all equipment after our guests' last day on snow. Gas up, wash vans and clean the interior regularly.
    Shop Responsibilities:
    Packing orders for future deliveries. Basic ski tuning, waxing and general maintenance of our equipment. Organization and cleanliness of the shop. Restocking vans with extra equipment. Answering and making calls to our customers.
