Sineath Construction is seeking a skilled, detail-oriented Carpenter to join our team. This is an opportunity for a craftsman who takes pride in high-quality work and thrives in a collaborative, professional jobsite environment.
We're looking for someone who brings hands-on expertise across residential construction, from framing to finish work, and who values precision, accountability, and teamwork.
About the RoleAs a Carpenter, you will play a key role in the successful execution of residential construction and remodeling projects. You'll work from plans and field direction to build, install, and finish structural and aesthetic components-ensuring every detail meets our quality standards.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, takes ownership of their tasks, and consistently delivers high-level craftsmanship.
Key ResponsibilitiesExecute carpentry work across all phases of residential construction, including: framing (walls, roofs, rafters), window and door installation, and interior trim and finish carpentryInterpret blueprints, drawings, and supervisor instructions to complete layouts and installationsMeasure, cut, shape, and assemble materials, including wood, drywall, and other building componentsEnsure accuracy using levels, squares, and other measuring toolsMaintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsiteCoordinate with team members and subcontractors to keep projects moving efficientlyCommunicate material needs in advance to avoid delaysComplete daily time tracking and required documentationArrive on time and prepared each day, ready to begin work at 8:00 AM to support project timelines and team efficiencyWhat You BringExperience & Skills

What You'll Do
You'll be the connective thread between our clients, project managers, vendors, and field staff-making sure no detail slips through the cracks. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing detailed, accurate estimates for custom homes, renovations, and light commercial projectsMeeting with clients and subcontractors to clarify the scope and gather pricingManaging purchasing: issuing POs, ordering materials, and tracking delivery timelinesPartnering with the estimating and selections team to keep budgets up to dateCoordinating with the field team to share critical details before they're neededScheduling site visits with vendors and subs, especially for renovation projectsReading blueprints, performing takeoffs, and solving design or constructability questions earlyKeeping stakeholders aligned through clear communication and documentationWhat You Bring
We're looking for a proactive, organized professional who's fluent in the language of construction and loves building systems that work. You'll stand out if you have:
2+ years of experience in residential or commercial construction1+ years of experience in estimating or purchasingSolid knowledge of construction methods, terminology, and budgetingAbility to read blueprints, plans, and specifications with confidenceExperience performing material takeoffs and developing scopes of workProficiency with Microsoft Excel, email, and project management tools (e.g., CoConstruct or similar)Sharp organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to juggle prioritiesStrong communication skills with vendors, trades, and internal teamsIntegrity, sound judgment, and a professional approach that reflects Sineath's valuesCompensation & Benefits
