    Purpose:

    To maintain assigned areas in a clean, sanitary, safe, orderly and attractive manner in accordance with established procedures and as directed by supervisor; assure that the highest degree of cleanliness and sanitation is maintained at all times.

    Minimum Eligibility Requirements:

    Essential Functions:

    Follow cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor, including resident rooms, offices and public areasSweep and vacuum all assigned areasClean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areasClean windows and mirrors in resident rooms and all public areasClean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizingClean all hallways, stairways and elevators as necessaryEmpty all wastebasketsSubmit maintenance work orders of general maintenance concerns and/or problems to Maintenance Director or AdministratorReport to supervisor any unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community and any needed repairs to housekeeping or other facility equipmentClean and check model rooms and work in concert with admissions to insure that all incoming residents' rooms are cleaned and ready for move-inClean the employee break room when necessaryCheck and refill all paper towel and soap dispensers as necessaryAssist with laundry duties as directed or as needed including, but not limited to linens, towels, and resident personal laundryFollow soiled and clean laundry protocol as directed by supervisorProvide inventory of chemicals, supplies, linens as requiredLog water or heat temperatures as required or requestedFollow infection control and universal precautions policyAttend in-services and staff meetings as requestedKeep janitor closets and housekeeping supply rooms clean and orderlyOther duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary and appropriate by supervisor or AdministratorClean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as requested or assigned

    Summary:

    As a Resident Assistant for our community, you are a key member of an amazing team, enhancing the lives of our residents. By providing consistent and quality care, our caregiving team ensures our residents live meaningful life.

    Essential Functions:

    Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating, transferring, and mobility Engages residents in meaningful conversation, socialization, and activity while providing personal care assistanceResponds to all resident needs and/or requests for care promptly, and provides or obtains assistance with care as necessaryAssists in the dining room during resident meal timesEncourages residents to participate in scheduled activities and outings, and assists with those activities as neededAssists in the cleanliness of the community, including straightening resident beds, emptying resident garbage, and tidies resident rooms daily and as neededAssists with resident laundry per shift guidelines

Essential Functions: * Assist Resident Experience Director (RED) in planning and providing activities that support and maintain the residents' quality of life, and that meet state requirements for addressing residents' social, physical, spiritual, and mental health. * Follows and implements programs posted on the Calendar of Events created by the RED that is built around resident life profiles and demonstrate an active, social, and creative environment. * Assists the RED in maintaining an updated social history and Life Profile of each resident. * Assists the RED in maintaining a successful "Better Health for a Better Self" program to meet the health and wellness needs of the residents. * Meets all new residents and families upon arrival, informing them of the activity program and encouraging participation. * Maintains the inventory of activity supplies and equipment and submits a monthly list of needs to the RED. * As requested, assists with set up and break down of events of holiday parties. * As needed, operates, and drives the community bus for resident outings, community outreach opportunities, or another programming away from the community. * And other duties assigned by supervisor. Essential Functions: * Follow cleaning schedule and instructions as directed by supervisor, including resident rooms, offices and public areas. * Sweep and vacuum all assigned areas * Clean and/or polish all room furnishings, fixtures, ledges, heating/air conditioning units in resident rooms and all public areas. * Clean windows and mirrors in resident rooms and all public areas. * Clean walls and ceilings by washing, wiping, dusting, spot cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing. * Clean all hallways, stairways and elevators as necessary. * Empty all wastebaskets. * Submit maintenance work orders of general maintenance concerns and/or problems to Maintenance Director or Administrator. * Report to supervisor any unsafe/hazardous conditions within the community and any needed repairs to housekeeping or other facility equipment. * Clean and check model rooms and work in concert with admissions to insure that all incoming residents' rooms are cleaned and ready for move-in. * Clean the employee break room when necessary. * Check and refill all paper towel and soap dispensers as necessary. * Assist with laundry duties as directed or as needed including, but not limited to linens, towels, and resident personal laundry. * Follow soiled and clean laundry protocol as directed by supervisor. * Provide inventory of chemicals, supplies, linens as required. * Log water or heat temperatures as required or requested. * Follow infection control and universal precautions policy. * Attend in-services and staff meetings as requested. * Keep janitor closets and housekeeping supply rooms clean and orderly. * Other duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary and appropriate by supervisor or Administrator. * Clean exterior windows, patios, or other outside areas as requested or assigned.
