Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems including furnaces, boilers, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-splits Perform routine maintenance, tune-ups, inspections, and safety checks Use testing instruments to evaluate refrigeration pressures, electrical components, combustion efficiency, and airflow Provide clear explanations of issues, repair options, and system performance to customers Document findings, parts used, recommendations, and work performed Respond to dispatched service calls promptly and maintain professional communication with office staff Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicle in proper working order Follow all safety procedures, codes, and best practices Qualifications: Experience as an HVAC service technician (residential or commercial) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration principles EPA 608 and OSHA 10 certification Valid drivers license with a clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs., work in tight spaces, attics, and basements Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable using mobile apps for work orders and job documentation Preferred Experience: Minimum 3 years maintenance experience Experience with high-efficiency equipment, boilers, hydronics, or advanced controls NATE certification Familiarity with service management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge, Housecall Pro)
