Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tax Advisory Associate to support our planning team serving high-net-worth and small business clients. This role is essential in helping our team deliver proactive, personalized, and accurate tax solutions. The ideal candidate has a foundational understanding of tax planning and compliance, strong organizational skills, and a desire to grow. The person in this role enjoys working collaboratively with a team to support the needs of clients, taking ownership of the tax process from start to finish, and appreciates being a part of the financial planning life cycle. Key Responsibilities:Tax Document Review:
Gather, organize, and maintain complex financial and tax documentation for clients and small business owners. Ensure records are complete, compliant, and readily accessible for advisors and preparers.Tax Filing Preparation:
Assist in preparing year-end tax documentation, working with external CPAs and internal teams to support accurate and timely filings. Identify key forms, deductions, and schedules relevant to individual and business returns.Planning Team Support:
Collaborate with tax and financial planners to assist in modeling tax scenarios, preparing planning deliverables, estate planning preparation, and implementing strategies designed to minimize tax liabilities for both individuals and small enterprises.Client Meeting Preparation Support:
Prepare reports, tax projections, and document packets for client reviews. Ensure the planning team is fully equipped with the latest financial and tax data for every client meeting.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field (or in progress)1–3 years of experience in a tax, financial advisory, or accounting settingExposure to or interest in working with high-net-worth clients and small businessesStrong organizational and project coordination skillsWorking knowledge of federal and state tax filings for individuals and businessesProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with financial planning software a plusHigh level of discretion when handling sensitive client dataPreferred Qualifications:CPA or Enrolled Agent (EA) track is a plusPrior experience supporting tax advisory or wealth management teamsFamiliarity with trust structures, entity types (LLCs, S-Corps), and small business tax issues Company DescriptionSignify is a fast growing privately-held wealth management firm providing comprehensive financial planning for the Influential.
