    Social Worker/Therapist (Inpatient)

    Dardanelle Regional Medical Center

    Dardanelle, AR

    The Social Worker/Therapist provides therapeutic services to clients and is responsible for conducting assessments, facilitating group and individual counseling, creating treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role also includes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support clients in achieving their goals.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    Client Care:

    Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide evidence-based individual, group, and family therapy to clients enrolled.Collaborate with clients to identify recovery goals and track progress.Address co-occurring mental health conditions and provide crisis intervention as needed.Maintain client confidentiality in compliance with 42 C.F.R. Part 2 and HIPAA.

    Program Support:

    Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case reviews.Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and therapeutic groups.Support program development by providing feedback on client needs and service improvements.

    Documentation and Compliance:

    Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).Ensure all documentation meets organizational, state, and federal standards.Adhere to program policies, procedures, and ethical standards in all professional activities.

    Collaboration and Advocacy:

    Serve as an advocate for clients, ensuring access to necessary resources and services.Build and maintain relationships with community organizations and referral sources.Provide education to clients and families about disorders, treatment options and strategies.

    Education and Experience:

    Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.Current licensure (e.g., LMSW, LCSW, or equivalent) or eligible.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience, preferably in an inpatient setting.

    Skills and Abilities:

    Strong clinical skills in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention.Proficiency in using electronic health record systems.Knowledge of evidence-based practices for SUD treatment (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing).Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities.     Overview

    Maintains contact with nursing homes, medical-surgical units and other facilities and agencies to promote the program and to provide education regarding services available for their patients.Provides ongoing communications with referral sources concerning the status of patients referred into the program.Participates in agency-wide training programs and in-services.Provides quality and timely clinical documentation, per Joint Commission and other regulatory agencies’ requirements.Proficiency in interpersonal communication and interdisciplinary teamwork.Experience and skill in treating patients with various types and presentations of psychiatric/behavioral health disorders.Proficiency in conducting psychosocial assessments.Proficiency in developing interdisciplinary treatment plans.Must be flexible to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment.Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.Display proficient oral/written communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years experience in an adult Inpatient psychiatric unit and/or substance use facility and experience facilitating patients' access to community resources and conducting therapeutic groups.

    Must be flexible to adjust to the needs of a fast-paced environment, demonstrate effective problem solving skills, and display proficient oral/written communication skills. Must be Licensed in DC as an LICSW or LPC.

    Salary Range Information:

    $77,482.08 to $94,700.32

    We are actively interviewing licensed social workers for our PRN Social Worker position at the Heritage Program for Senior Adults with our program with Wamego Health Center, Wamego KS.

    As a Licensed Mental Health Worker, you will ensure that the emotional and therapeutic needs of patients are consistently met and maintained, based on individual plans of behavioral health care.

    Your specific duties will include:

    Facilitating Daily Group Therapy and keeping charts updatedCompleting Psychosocial AssessmentsAssisting with Treatment Planning and Discharge PlanningCompleting Utilization Review

    Responsibilities

    Qualifications:

    Heritage Senior Behavior Health is an outpatient program that provides individualized treatment for older adults who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or mental health disorders.

    Our program provides intensive outpatient treatment, offered Monday through Friday. Treatment through our program is offered in the least restrictive environment and patients are able to return home each afternoon. We serve Pottawatomie, Riley, and Wabaunsee Counties.

    Our services are offered on a philosophy of providing quality care that stresses the importance of dignity, respect, confidentiality. Our goal is to help our patients achieve an optimum level of functioning. Together as a team, our staff of highly trained clinicians formulate treatment plans specific to the individual's needs.
