    Role:

    This position is responsible for processing vehicle titles using respective states/agencies guidelines in a timely and accurate manner to ensure a high level of member satisfaction and meeting the goals of the Credit Union. Will also be responsible for other Collection Department duties as assigned.

     

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    Accurately process incoming titles, including review and perfection of unperfected titles within core system, completion of monthly Title Dashboard report, and record incoming titles daily according to established procedures. Troubleshoot problem resolution specific to titles, power of attorneys and discrepancies relating to lien perfection.Answers member inquiries regarding title perfection and release, and participate in management of overflow call resolution.Manages continued transition and maintenance of ELT process to increase efficiency of title perfection process.Distributes regular status reports and employee communication on active issues involving title perfection and collateral management.Performs other job related duties as assigned.

     

    Performance Measurements:

    To ensure title requests are processed in a timely manner.To provide friendly, prompt, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and coworkers including, answering questions and/or processing title related requests.To troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquires in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner.To ensure that all operations for assigned products are in compliance with governing regulation and to keep management informed regarding key operating issues affecting title and/or the department.To make sure other job related duties are completed in a timely manner.To recommend new products and/or services that will increase income, reduce expenses and/or enhance procedures.To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.To comply with Credit Union's security policy and other policies and procedures if applicable.

     

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.

    Education: A high school education or GED.

    Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting

    cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

     

    Other Skills:

    1. Must have good communication skills and be detail oriented.

    2. Must have an understanding of lending and finance.

    3. Must understand basic financial calculations.

    4. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    5. Must be able to operate general office equipment including 10-key calculator, copier,

    fax, and computer.

     

    Physical Requirements:

    This position mostly operates from a desk. Physical activity is generally limited to lifting

    small boxes or items less than 20 lbs. Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.

     

    Work Environment: Typical office environment.

    Role:

    The Member Services Representative is responsible for assisting members, potential members and other

    employees with their questions and requests. He/she needs to understand and be able to explain basic IRA, Share, Loan, Mortgage and Visa related products and services, responds to problems, processes member's

    requests received via web, e-mail, fax, online/mobile banking, or mail and processes death claims, POA, and trust accounts.

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    Answers Member Services queue calls and assists members with Share, Loan, Mortgage and

    Visa related products and services and basic IRA questions, including but not limited to chapter

    accounts’ inquiries, open/close of Certificate of Deposits, account/share closure requests, process

    transfer/ACH/wire requests, check orders, check disbursal, answers basic loan/mortgage/Visa

    questions, processes Visa card capture/reissues requests, travel notes, basic fraud/dispute

    questions, Apple Pay/Google Pay Token requests, Stop Payments, and ACH dispute process

    information. May handle cash transactions. Completes daily work folder requests. Scans account

    related documents. Assures that appropriate records are maintained.

    Processes death claims, power of attorney (POS) trust accounts, account update forms,

    verification of deposits, certificate disclosures, change of address/contact, Skip-A-Pay/Extension

    requests, returned mail and other requests via web, e-mail, fax, online/mobile banking, and mail.

    Backs up front desk; backs up the Poster when needed.Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Performance Measurements:

    1. To provide friendly, prompt, accurate and high quality service and support to all members and associates.

    2. To carry out assigned responsibilities according to established department standards.

    3. To proactively seek opportunities to cross sell products and services for the betterment of our members.

    4. To process member transactions with 99.5% accuracy.

    5. To ensure member's request get updated and scanned into the system on a daily basis.

    6. To ensure cash drawer and checks are balance on a daily basis if applicable.

    7. To maintain all assigned files, so they are current with all filing to be completed daily.

    8. To complete other assigned projects in a timely manner.

    9. To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.

    10. To comply with Credit Union's security policy and other policy and procedure if applicable.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    Experience - One year to three years of similar or related experience.Education - A high school education or GED.Interpersonal Skills - Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.Other Skills - General computer operations, MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.     Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    Accurately process loan packages ensuring accuracy of credit union policies and procedures. Ordering tax transcripts. Ensures loan packages meet compliance guidelines fixing discrepancies as necessary.Answer member inquiries regarding loan funding, and participate in management of overflow call resolution.Performs other related duties as assigned.


    Performance Measurements:

    Role:

    To assist members with their mortgage lending needs (first mortgage and home equity loans), analyze loan

    requests and make credit recommendations based on Credit Union's lending policies, federal regulations, and local and state laws.

     

    Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

    Answers Mortgage Department queue calls and reviews residential loan applications, both first mortgages and home equity loan types, to ensure accuracy of information and that loan data meets Credit Union policies and guidelines, federal regulations, and state and local laws.Explains loan programs to members, evaluates their needs and recommends options.Pulls credit reports, orders appraisals, property abstracts, surveys, and employment verification. Informs supervisor of discrepancies. Submits mortgage loan application files for underwriting approval.Works with other departments as necessary to achieve success or minimize risk.Performs other duties as assigned.

     

    Performance Measurements:

    To meet the minimum established incentive goal each month.To return all phone calls and answer all correspondence within 24 hours.To insure all lending activities and approved loans comply with established policies, regulations and meet secondary market guidelines.To provide informed, professional, and accurate service and support to all members and associates.To demonstrate a knowledge of all mortgage products and rates, both within the Credit Union and from the industry overall.To maintain working knowledge of all mortgage products and rates, both within the credit union and from the industry overall.To develop recommendations for cost efficiency and enhancements to products, pricing, processes by monitoring trends in operations and deposit services.To maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.To comply with Credit Union's security policy and other policies and procedures if applicable.

     

    Knowledge and Skills:

    4. Must have working knowledge of regulations affecting mortgage lending.

    5. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

    6. Must have working knowledge of spreadsheets and word processing software; be able to use PC and general office equipment.

    7. Must be able to read and understand property appraisals, title reports, surveys, and credit reports.

    8. Must have analytical/judgmental skills.

    9. Experiences with MeridianLink and FICS are preferred.
