Position Description:
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO AS AN OPERATIONS MANAGER AT SIGMA:
Directs and manages the day-to-day activities of an organization's operations, typically through subordinate operations managers. Full operational ownership of the program(s) to which they are assigned to lead superior team performance while meeting time, budget, and quality metrics. Implements company policies, procedures, and initiatives. Evaluate and enhance current operational systems. Monitors performance against operational goals and develops reporting and auditing processes used to analyze operational effectiveness. Coordinates operations with other functions.
Responsibilities:
Takes full operational leadership of individual and team performance, holding oneself and the team accountable for results.
Effectively manages human and material resources, including personnel, schedules, scope and process adherence, and work assignments, to optimize productivity while ensuring a quality project is delivered.

Requirements:Education A Bachelors degree is preferred, but management will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience - 8 years of experience with engineering, operations, and /or project management, including financial oversight and personnel development. 3+ years of management experience, with the proven ability to lead, motivate, and influence associates.
Second-level management experience is required (i.e., direct management of managers).
Experience in project scheduling, cost controls, tracking, and reporting methodologies.
Ability to develop plans and organize work to ensure efforts are focused, resources are aligned, progress is monitored, and targets are met.
Knowledge of financial principles to quantify costs and benefits of projects, to track and maintain project budgets.
Demonstrated business management skills, including consulting, customer service, and business acumen.
Ability to analyze information, form conclusions, and provide meaningful solutions.
Experience in the application of Project Management Institute project management techniques or equivalent.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate team efforts, provide guidance and direction to team members, and the ability to establish and sustain relationships with colleagues and employees at all levels in the company.
Demonstrated skill in motivating and influencing others, as well as skills and experience in team building and conflict management.
Available during the core work hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, and occasional evening and weekend work may be required as duties demand.

Physical Requirements:

Position Description
The Technical Project Administrator works with internal project teams to ensure all administrative duties relating to technical project functions are delivered in an accurate and timely manner. The Administrator prepares packages for use by our teams of Field Techs, Drafters and Designers from the initial inquiry through the processing and final design and/or permitting. Assists Supervisors and Project Engineers to coordinate project activities, collaborating with other project team members, tracking, and recording project milestones and recording progress against corresponding goals and metrics.
Some of the essential job functions

Project Supervisors demonstrate technical expertise and leadership and should be familiar with the commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in electrical and/or civil engineering environments, preferably in the utility industry, and be able to rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Supervisors are expected to be able to recommend new and/or improvements to documentation and implement approved changes. While their focus is on the assigned project functions, the failure of their team/area to achieve objectives will impact overall project/program deadlines and results.
