    The SSM must hold these certifications:
    NYC DOB issued Site Safety Manager License
    FDNY Fire Safety Certification (S56)
    62hr SST Supervisor card


    Responsibilities:
    Ensure strict safety compliance.
    Conduct regular safety inspections.
    Provide safety training.
    Develop emergency response plans.
    Maintain all required logs on site.
    Lead safety meetings.
    Identify safety improvement opportunities.


    Qualifications:

Ideal candidate must hold a valid NYC DOB SSC license as well as a FDNY S56 Fire Safety Manager license. Candidate must be in good physical shape as the job requires them to be active.


    Responsibilities:

    Develop and implement site-specific safety plans to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and industry standards.Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and take necessary corrective actions.Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safety measures and recommend improvements as needed.Train site personnel on safety procedures and maintain accurate safety records.Serve as a liaison between the project team and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.Investigate accidents and incidents to identify causes and develop strategies to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.

    Qualifications:

    Title: Recruiter

    Position Summary

    The Construction Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, attracting, screening, and hiring qualified candidates for construction and skilled trades positions. This role partners closely with hiring managers to identify workforce needs and ensure timely staffing of projects. The ideal candidate has experience recruiting for construction, engineering, skilled trades, or industrial environments and understands the unique challenges of workforce planning in the construction industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    ·         Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for construction and skilled trades positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.

    ·         Develop and maintain candidate pipelines

    ·         Utilize job boards, social media, networking events, trade schools, unions, and employee referrals to source candidates.

    ·         Manage applicant tracking systems (ATS) and maintain accurate recruiting records.

    ·         Attend job fairs, industry events, and community outreach programs to build talent pipelines.

    ·         Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company hiring policies.

    Talent Acquisition Manager – Construction Operations

    Position Summary

    We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to lead the recruitment strategy supporting our construction operations, overseeing recruitment efforts for positions across the field and corporate functions. This is a high impact role for a hands-on recruiting leader who can set the hiring vision, own outcomes, develop a team and partner with executives. You are passionate about attracting, identifying and retaining top talent. In this role, you will focus on developing lead generation and sustainable recruitment practices.

    Key Responsibilities

    ·         Own and shape Sierra’s talent acquisition strategy by evaluating labor market trends and translating business goals into measurable and effective hiring plans

    ·         Design and own the recruiting operating model beginning at intake and sourcing through to offer strategies and closing overseeing full-cycle recruiting activities across business units.

    ·         Establish recruiting goals, performance metrics, and hiring priorities.
