Job Summary:
Under the direction of a licensed physician, transcribes abbreviated and symbolized information from physician orders onto patient medication profile, through manual and computer entry. Selects and prepares medications, pharmaceutical products, and intravenous admixtures, including chemotherapeutic agents. Assists in the dispensing and distribution of medications. Maintains pharmacy merchandise and equipment. Reviews medication cassettes for returned medication; types of unit doses and intravenous admixture labels; transports pharmacy merchandise. Performs other duties as required.

ü Assessing patients at each visit
ü Alerting respective doctor for any change or concerns on each patient
ü Continued communication with each physician regarding patient status, regimen and dosing confirmations
ü New patient medication education
ü Emergency response management for site reactions
ü OCM/Other programs review and data entry
ü General patient care

This position is for a full-time infusion RN for multiple locations with a MINIMUM of one year experience. Please no new grads.
Primary duties to include chemotherapy dose calculation, mixing chemotherapy medications and administering chemotherapy to patients. No prior chemotherapy experience needed but ONCOLOGY certification is a plus. We will train. This position is for Monday thru Friday. Start and stop times each day may vary but range from 7AM to 7PM. 8 hour days 5 days schedule. Good IV skills a must. Applicants must be compassionate towards patients and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Applicants must be proficient in both professional patient care and electronic documentation.
