Position Overview:
We are looking for an entry-level Factory Commissioning Test Technician to join our team in Lexington, NC! We are willing to train and help you grow in this role. This person will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs on next-generation light rail, locomotives, and coaches. Need to be familiar with electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 2:30am
What your day-to-day will look like:
Perform electrical and mechanical commissioning on locomotive and coach carsTroubleshoot, document and repair electrical and mechanical failuresWork with state-of-the-art diagnostic test equipment.Understand and comply with company and industry safety standards.Communicate with others, verbally and in writing, technical information, job procedure recommendations, and other work-related information.Have ability to work independently and among a team with multi-disciplinary backgrounds.Read, interpret and understand written or electronic schematics.Use PTU’s to troubleshoot various systems onboard light rail, locomotive and coach vehicles.To thrive in this role, you have:
High school diploma (or GED)2+ years experience in electrical testingMust be proficient in electrical, pneumatic, mechanical troubleshootingAssociate’s degree in engineering or mechatronics program education or similar preferredPhysical Demands:

The base salary range for this position in Lexington, NC is $46,002 – $53,958, plus a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift. **The salary may be higher or lower depending on the budget and the candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

CompensationHourly pay range in Munhall, PA: $16.40–$21.30. Final compensation may be above or below this range based on budget and your experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
