  Job Summary

  We are seeking a hands-on Quality Technician to support manufacturing quality operations in a production environment. This role is focused on dimensional inspection, blueprint reading, use of calipers/micrometers/gauges, in-process and final inspection, and quality documentation.

  This is a good fit for candidates with direct experience in manufacturing quality, not lab-only, administrative QA, or compliance-only backgrounds.

  Key Responsibilities

  Perform in-process, first article, and final inspectionsUse calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring toolsRead and interpret blueprints / technical drawingsDocument non-conformances and inspection resultsSupport production quality and containment activitiesEscalate defects and quality concerns as needed

  Required Qualifications

  Experience in manufacturing quality inspectionAbility to use calipers, micrometers, and gaugesAbility to read blueprintsExperience with dimensional inspectionAbility to work in a manufacturing environment

  Preferred Qualifications

  First article or final inspection experienceQA/QC experience in metal, plastic, machining, or industrial manufacturingExperience documenting defects or non-conformances

  This is a hands-on, high-skill role inside a growing operation in Naperville.

   

  Job Description:
  We are seeking a Process Technician with direct plastic injection molding experience. Candidates must have hands-on background in mold setup/changeovers, process troubleshooting, and defect reduction in a production environment.

  Key Requirements:

  Plastic injection molding experienceMold setup / mold changesTroubleshooting defects such as flash, short shots, and warpProcess adjustment supportComfortable with 12-hour rotating 2-2-3 schedule

  Preferred:

  Husky, Engel, or similar equipmentWittmann, FANUC, CBW, or similar automationSetup sheets / process documentation

  Important Fit Note:
  General machine operator, warehouse, packaging, or maintenance-only backgrounds without direct injection molding setup/process experience are not the target for this role.
