Shoreline Christian School, located north of Seattle, is seeking a part time Admission Director for the 2026-27 school year. We offer medical, dental, vision, 403B, life insurance, and PTO. Hourly rate starts at $28.00 and up DOE. Our greatest accomplishment and hope as teachers is that every child will know that they are special and created in Gods image.
The Admissions Director is directly responsible for the overall strategy, leadership, and execution of all activities related to admissions for domestic and international students. The Admissions Director reports to the Head of School and has key working relationships with the School Principals, Office Manager and Marketing. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
Essential Job Functions:
Reply to all family inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Develop and foster relationships and communication with prospective and new families throughout the admissions cycle.Tour interested families, working in partnership with principals.Coordinate family interviews with Elementary and Secondary Principals.Work with marketing staff to create innovative ideas to enhance the enrollment process.Compile, review, and maintain digital student application, admission, and enrollment files.Collaborate with Marketing Manager on advertisement and communications regarding enrollment.Attend and present at recruitment engagements and school fairsAssist in marketing efforts with feeder schools.Evaluate and optimize the current admissions systems and documentation.Facilitate Charger for a Day visits, new student events, open houses, and other relevant events/activities.Function as SCSs Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) - handling all International Student functions in SEVISRecruit and coordinate host families and tutoring for International StudentsResponsible for the strategy, planning, and implementation of programs and projects that engage alumni with one another, students, and the SCS community.
Preferred Experience, Education, and Skills:
3+ years of relevant experience and/or previous experience in a Christian school settingBachelors degree in marketing, business administration, or another related fieldPolished, professional appearance and communication skillsAbility to work with families of various background, cultures, and languagesTechnology proficiency in the Google suite: drive, sheets, docs, slides, classroomQuickly adapts to new systems and technologyWork independently and take initiative to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive environment with attention to detail, organization, accuracy.Strong personal work ethic, self-motivated and results-oriented with the willingness to learn new things.
Potential hourly breakdown:
30+ hours per week
Potential for hours to increase during Enrollment Season (February, March, August and September)
Summer Hours to be determined
