POSITION SUMMARY:
Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production teammates within the Surface Department. Serve as the technical lead for the area. TRAINING AND IMPROVEMENT
• Ensure teammates receive applicable Optical Lab training to perform all aspects
of their job including safe and efficient equipment operations in addition to work
and safety procedures as outlined in their respective job description
• Engage in ongoing research to remain up to date on new technologies in
production and for possible implementation
• Partner with production leads for input on teammate’s performance reviews and
development plans
• Provide production leads and teammates with ongoing performance feedback
• Implement measures to motivate teammates and to improve morale, production
methods, efficiency, equipment performance, productivity and product quality
• Foster an inclusive culture for all teammates at the Optical Lab
MAINTAIN SAFE WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Ensure teammates follow all Optical Lab and company policies and adhere to
safety related guidelines and OSHA regulations

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years leadership experience. Optical manufacturing environment or
production environment preferred
• Lab management system experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years management experience
