    ⚡ Start ASAP | Long-Term Opportunity

    We are seeking an experienced Site Safety Representative to support a large-scale data center construction project in Birmingham, AL. This is a fast-paced, high-visibility role ideal for a hands-on safety professional who thrives in active construction environments.

    COMPENSATION & DETAILS
    • $50/hour
    • 60 hours per week
    • 6-month duration
    • $150/day per diem available


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Oversee jobsite safety for large commercial/data center construction activities
    • Conduct daily site walks, inspections, and safety audits
    • Enforce OSHA compliance and site-specific safety requirements
    • Review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), pre-task plans, and permits
    • Coordinate with superintendents, project managers, and subcontractors
    • Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and workforce training
    • Investigate incidents, near misses, and implement corrective actions


    REQUIREMENTS
    • Strong background in construction safety (data center or large commercial preferred)
    • Solid knowledge of OSHA standards and field compliance
    • Hands-on jobsite presence required
    • Experience working with multiple trades and subcontractors
    • Ability to manage safety in a fast-moving construction environment

    Our client has multiple safety technician positions currently open in both Goodwater, AL and Eclectic, AL (north of Montgomery, AL). These roles are eligible for overtime.

    1st shift (6:00am - 3:00pm)2nd shift (6:00pm - end of shift; roughly 9 or 10 hours total)


    They are looking for an energetic, passionate HSSE professional to provide strong compliance support to a critical manufacturing location. This is an essential, full-time position for a growing manufacturer looking to elevate its safety culture & program. 

     The Role:

    Perform risk assessments, training, incident investigations, data tracking/reporting, and audits.Build relationships with employees across the site and interact effectively with leadership.Support OSHA programs. 


     The Candidate: 

    Minimum of 1 year of EHS experience (manufacturing preferred). Experience with JHA/JSAs, PPE coaching, training, OSHA compliance, and report writing, along with the above responsibilities. B.S. in safety/a related field or ASP/GSP/CSP is highly competitive.Commutable to or comfortable relocating to either Eclectic or Goodwater, Alabama.     We are looking for an experienced Site Safety Representative to support a large-scale Data Center construction project in Minooka, IL. The ideal candidate will ensure a safe work environment by enforcing OSHA standards, client requirements, and company safety policies.

    Responsibilities

    Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on the job site.Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.Ensure employees, subcontractors, vendors, and visitors comply with all safety policies and procedures.Work closely with project management to implement and maintain site-specific safety programs.Review and maintain required client and subcontractor safety documentation.Lead safety orientations, toolbox talks, and training sessions.Track safety metrics and prepare reports as needed.Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.Ensure compliance with OSHA and all federal, state, and local safety regulations.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety & Health or a related field OR 5–10 years of construction safety experience.OSHA 30 Certification (preferred).Current First Aid/CPR/AED Certification.Strong knowledge of OSHA and construction safety regulations.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Experience working on commercial or industrial construction projects (Data Center experience is a plus).Ability to work on active construction sites, including standing, walking, climbing ladders, and navigating uneven terrain.
