As an associate you will be working within one of several teams:
Receiving: This team accepts our customers' new inventory and owns the entire process of getting that inventory put away and accepted into our system. The responsibility of communicating the arrivals and any exceptions are received as well. Picking: Spread across two different processes our picking team is responsible for delivering products to the next stage of the process quickly and accurately. An integral team in the warehouse, pickers and their peers keep the flow of customers products moving and keep the warehouse humming. Packing: The final touches before a customer receives their products, the packing team is responsible for ensuring the quality of each and every shipment as well as packing the items correctly. The packing team works together with picking to guarantee that shipments are fulfilled perfectly and owns all responsibility around those shipments. Other Duties as Required: We are a team which means you will be asked to help out in other areas out of your normal day to day responsibilities to ensure the operations are running efficiently. This role includes responsibility for ensuring products are handled, stored, and distributed in a manner that maintains their safety, quality, and legality. Role Description:
The Onsite Merchant Support Specialist helps to monitor and complete inventory control related activities for all ShipBob merchants at our partner fulfillment centers. As the sole ShipBob representative onsite, they partner directly with leadership and associates to resolve any merchant concerns or requests. At ShipBob, it is imperative to provide a great merchant experience while supporting our fulfillment center partners and developing scalable operations. This role reports to the Manager, SFN Quality. The backup for this role is the Manager, SFN Quality.
What you'll do:
Run daily cycle counting and inventory control processes according to written SOP's utilizing partner resources. Investigate inventory discrepancies reported by the Merchant Support team and report significant discrepancies to the OSS Area Manager and the Operations Manager onsite. Perform physical location checks to ensure quality and reconcile inventory variances within a 24-hour SLA. Determine root cause of inventory adjustments and lead efforts to correct. Perform audits or other actions requested by merchants within the site. Respond and resolve merchant facing requests via ticketing system around inventory related issues within 2-hour SLA. Vocalize concerns around inventory practices to OSS Area Manager and Operations Manager helping to identify areas of opportunity in day-to-day processes. Communicate updates and relay important operational information about merchants directly to OSS Area Manager. Present weekly performance reports during business review with leaders from partner fulfillment center. Comply with all food safety and compliance policies and regulations. This role includes responsibility for ensuring products are handled, stored, and distributed in a manner that maintains their safety, quality, and legality. Team members are expected to follow all standard operating procedures, report any concerns related to product condition or integrity, support traceability through accurate record-keeping, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and product safety awareness. Role Description:
As a Safety Lead, Site Operations, you will support the safety compliance activities within the fulfillment center. This role is focused on conducting daily safety observations, documenting findings, and escalating unsafe conditions or behaviors to operations leadership for resolution. You will assist with the training delivery and administration of Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) and Trailer Dock Release (TDR) programs under the direction of the Operations leadership.
This role spends most of its time on the warehouse floor conducting audits, engaging associates, verifying compliance, etc. This role is well-suited to someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable following structured processes and checklists, and committed to promoting a safe workplace for all associates.
This role reports to the Site General Manager with a dotted-line partnership to the Safety organization.
What you'll do:
Training Support – PIT & TDR
Support delivery of site-level PIT and Trailer Doc Release (TDR) training for new and existing associates as directed by the Safety team. Monitor associate compliance with PIT and TDR procedures during daily floor observations and escalate non-compliance to Operations leadership. Maintain accurate certification records and training documentation. Support incident investigations involving PIT equipment and suggest corrective actions.Site Safety Audits & Inspections
Conduct daily warehouse safety walks and inspections. Perform routine audits of PIT operations, pedestrian traffic areas, emergency exits, dock operations, storage locations, and housekeeping standards. Identify and flag unsafe conditions, behaviors, or compliance gaps to operations leadership for follow-up and resolution. Track audit observations; verify that flagged items have been addressed in a timely manner.Safety Equipment Checks
Maintain inventory and inspection records for safety equipment, including: Fall protection harnesses Lanyards First aid kits Eye wash stations AEDs Spill response supplies Emergency response equipment Fire extinguishers Safety signage Conduct routine inspections and ensure damaged or expired equipment is removed from service and replaced promptly.Safety Program Support

Role Description:
As a Safety Lead, Site Operations, you will support the safety compliance activities within the fulfillment center. Investigate WRO discrepancies reported by the partner personnel and front line team members and Merchant Care teams. Communicate updates, issues, and escalations as well as relay operational information to on-site Operations Manager and Regional Director. Ability to visualize and conduct how to load, plan and offload trucks and containers with little to no supervision. Scheduling of daily loads through set carriers, going in and out of the HUB and delivering to spoke sites all within the expected SLA. Update and manage all BOL requirements. Generate and log all IPP Shipments going out of the HUB site to its final destination. Check in and check out drivers for all IB and OB activity coming in and out of the facility. Log all missed and confirmed appointments through internal reporting tools and appointment scheduling software NOVA. Support OM and partner in the promptly resolution of Jira tickets and Merchants Escalations. This role includes responsibility for ensuring products are handled, stored, and distributed in a manner that maintains their safety, quality, and legality. Team members are expected to follow all standard operating procedures, report any concerns related to product condition or integrity, support traceability through accurate record-keeping, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and product safety awareness. Role Description:
As a Senior AI Product Builder at ShipBob, you own the full build loop for your product domain: discovery, story/specs, AI-augmented prototypes, and production-ready PRs. This is not the traditional PM role — you are a builder. You use the AI development toolchain (e.g., Claude Code, Driver.ai) to understand ShipBob's codebase architecture, generate working code against the actual repo, and ship to production with minimum engineering rework. The minimum technical floor for this role is real: you must read ShipBob's data model, evaluate AI-generated scaffolding for correctness, and write story/specs precise enough that AI tools can act on them without follow-up questions.
You will be part of the Sortation Technology team. We build the products behind every point where ShipBob physically sorts inventory:
Inbound presort at receiving Outbound parcel sortation feeding final-mile injection B2B freight sortation to build retail or wholesale pallets Returns sortation routing units back to inventory or dispositionAs volume grows across time-sensitive marketplace and B2B channels, sortation has become a direct lever on merchant outcomes: on-time shipping, marketplace and retailer compliance, inventory accuracy, and the tracking experience end-consumers see. Sortation sits at the intersection of physical operations and digital systems, where small execution gaps compound into merchant-visible failures — making this one of the highest-leverage product surfaces at ShipBob. This PM owns the products that determine whether units move to the right place, at the right time, and whether what we tell merchants matches what's happening on the floor.
This role is for someone energized by speed, uncomfortable with waste, and who measures success by outcomes shipped — not documents approved. You operate in an AI-native pod alongside an AI Engineer, AI/Prompt Engineer, and Designer. This role reports to a Director, AI Product Builder.
What you'll do:
Own the full product loop independently: AI-augmented discovery → story/spec → prototype → production PR → outcome measurement. You are accountable for the outcome, not just the handoff. Conduct customer discovery and use AI tools to synthesize research across tickets, interviews, behavioral data, and competitive signals. Demonstrate deep functional and technical knowledge of owned products end-to-end. Demo to merchants and partners; understand competitive landscape and key differentiators. Use AI tools to analyze product metrics, identify usage patterns, and surface anomalies. Define success metrics and kill thresholds at spec time without coaching. Maintain a prioritized roadmap ranked by impact × speed. Use AI tools to synthesize competitive intelligence, market trends, and customer insight into strategic inputs. Evaluate whether a proposed solution fits ShipBob's architecture without Engineering translation. Understand service boundaries, data structures, and how merchant and partner API usage shapes data contracts. Route changes through prototype-then-PR. Write clear story/specs and review AI-generated code before raising. PR promotion rate improves consistently. Set experiment hypotheses with explicit kill thresholds. Make day-7 rollout/kill decisions on AI-surfaced data. Translate merchant, marketplace, and channel requirements into sortation capabilities across the fulfillment lifecycle. Sortation performance shapes outcomes for DTC, marketplace, B2B/retail, and returns flows: on-time shipping, marketplace and retailer routing-guide compliance, inventory accuracy, and accurate returns disposition. Sequence the roadmap around the highest-impact pain points. Close the gap between system signals and physical reality across every sortation surface. Sortation failures show up as merchant-visible defects: late shipments, mis-sorts, missing tracking events, mis-routed returns, and inventory inaccuracy at stowing. Build the tooling, workflows, and verification signals that prevent them. Partner with Operations to turn product into adoption. Work directly with FC, Sort Center, Inbound, and Returns leadership, alongside Process Engineering and Transportation. Translate new tools into standard operating procedures and measurable performance improvement across every sortation surface — from manual sort to future automated unit sorters. Move the metrics that define sortation performance — outbound execution SLAs (Click-to-Collect, Mis-sort Rate, Container Audit Defect Rate), inbound rebuild outcomes (drop-to-stock, SLA adherence), B2B compliance (SLA, load accuracy, retailer routing-guide compliance), and returns processing (cycle time, disposition accuracy).What you'll bring to the table:
5+ years of product management, product engineering, or equivalent experience, with demonstrated hands-on AI tool usage in a professional context. Proven ability to write story/specs that AI tools can act on directly — state machines, business rules, data contracts, edge cases — not narrative PRDs. Technical fluency: can read a data model, evaluate an API contract, and identify when AI-generated code deviates from the target architecture. Track record of shipping working prototypes or production code, not just Figma mocks or slide decks. Strong outcome ownership: sets success metrics and kill thresholds at spec time and tracks them after launch. Experience working in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, transportation, or e-commerce technology. Sortation technology experience is a strong plus. Comfortable operating in a fail-fast culture. Being wrong fast is a feature here — staying slow to look right is the failure mode. Excellent written communication: you write specs, not meeting notes.Nice to have:
Hands-on experience with the AI development toolchain (e.g., Claude Code, Driver.ai, Cursor, Replit, V0, Figma AI). Working knowledge of TypeScript, React, or Python — enough to debug AI-generated code and understand what the Engineer is reviewing. Experience with warehouse management systems, order management, carrier integration, or fulfillment operations at scale. Prior experience transitioning a product team from traditional SDLC to an AI-native operating model.ShipBob believes in transparency while providing a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance approach. The full base pay range for this position in our compensation architecture is $151,080 – $251,800.
