The Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and continually improving the organization’s Quality Management System while ensuring products, processes, and materials meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality requirements. Quality Management System / Compliance
• Work in accordance with company Quality, Health, and Safety procedures at all times.

Non-Conformance / Corrective Action
• Promptly investigate, address, and document customer complaints, concerns, and quality issues.
• Identify and raise internal non-conformance reports, lead root cause investigations, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Validate the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions and follow up to ensure sustained improvement.
• Manage containment activities and support the control, disposition, and documentation of non-conforming products and raw materials.

Quality Data / Process Improvement
• Collect, analyze, and summarize quality data to prepare and present KPI reports and performance updates.

• Support and lead process improvement initiatives that improve product quality, reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Inspection / Calibration / Supplier Quality
• Conduct final inspection and certification of finished goods prior to dispatch.

In this role, you will be carrying out breakdown, planned and preventative maintenance on a variety of production machinery.
Key Responsibilities
Working in accordance with the company Quality and Health and Safety procedures at all times.Responsible for the safe installation and upkeep of all main production and auxiliary equipment.Deliver fast, effective electrical/mechanical fault finding by investigating the root cause and identify and implement preventative solutions making sure that the Production Manager is informed if a shutdown is required and that all plant and equipment is safe prior to handing back to production team.Carry out planned preventative maintenance tasks.Ensure the spares inventory is correctly identified and located in the correct location.Practise continuous improvement, innovation and pro-activeness for improved ways of working offering possible solutions to problems encountered wherever possible.To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested.
