Responsibilities:
Review construction drawings, specifications, and bid documentsPerform accurate quantity take-offs for structural and misc. steelPrepare detailed cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipmentCoordinate with project managers, engineers, and vendorsSolicit and analyze subcontractor and supplier quotesTrack and manage bid deadlinesWrite up Change Orders and Value Engineering
Qualifications:
Experience in structural steel and miscellaneous metals estimatingStrong ability to read and interpret blueprintsProficiency in computers, estimating software, and Microsoft ExcelStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manager multiple bids simultaneouslyStructural Steel background necessary
