Job Description
The Factory Office Coordinator supports daily office and production activities in a manufacturing environment. This role assists with purchasing, customer service, order entry, and basic production coordination. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities and is suitable for an organized, detailoriented individual looking to grow in manufacturing or operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Office Administration & Coordination
Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, customers, and vendorsAnswer and route incoming phone calls and emailsMaintain accurate records, schedules, and documentationPurchasing & Inventory Management
Assist with ordering materials and supplies from approved vendorsCreate and process purchase orders in the ERP systemMonitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepanciesCoordinate inventory counts and adjustments with warehouse and production teamsCustomer Service & Order Processing
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, or online portalProcess order updates, cancellations, returns, and warranty requestsHelp resolve basic order or product issues in a timely mannerBasic Production Planning Support
Assist the Production Planner with tracking schedules and material needsCommunicate order requirements and updates to production teamsReport inventory discrepancies or defects to the appropriate departmentQualifications
High school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious experience in an office, manufacturing, or customer service role preferredBasic computer skills; experience with ERP or order entry systems a plusStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to multitask and work in a fastpaced environmentWork Environment
