    Summary: Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking experienced Traveling Superintendents to lead field operations on commercial construction projects across the United States. This role oversees jobsite safety, subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and project execution from groundbreaking through closeout.

    Travel: 90–100% nationwide travel required.

    Project Types: Retail, restaurant (QSR), grocery, fuel/convenience store, and federal construction projects including ground-up builds, remodels, and structural concrete work.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Lead Field Operations

    Oversee all onsite construction activities and field operationsDirect subcontractors, vendors, and field crews to maintain productivity and progressEnsure projects stay on schedule and meet key milestones

    Scheduling & Coordination

    Develop and manage short-term look-ahead schedules aligned with the master project scheduleCoordinate material deliveries, equipment, and labor to maintain workflowIdentify potential issues early and implement solutions to avoid delays

    Safety Leadership

    Enforce company safety policies and OSHA complianceConduct daily safety meetings, site inspections, and job hazard analysisEnsure proper PPE use and maintain a strong safety culture onsite

    Quality Control

    Ensure work is performed according to plans, specifications, and quality standardsPerform regular jobsite walkthroughs and inspectionsCoordinate required inspections, testing, and quality control procedures

    Subcontractor Management

    Manage subcontractor performance, scope execution, and schedule adherenceCoordinate trades to prevent conflicts and maintain project flowAddress field issues and escalate discrepancies when necessary

    Project Documentation

    Maintain daily reports including manpower, progress, weather, and safety updatesCommunicate field updates and issues to the Project ManagerAssist with RFIs, change orders, and field directives as needed

    Project Closeout

    Manage punch list completion and final inspectionsCoordinate site demobilization and project turnoverSupport delivery of as-builts, O&M manuals, and final documentation

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred7+ years of construction experience, including 3+ years as a Superintendent for a General ContractorExperience managing commercial construction projectsStrong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and subcontractor coordinationExperience with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction scheduling software (MS Project or Primavera P6 preferred)Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsOSHA 30 certification (or ability to obtain)First Aid / CPR certification (or ability to obtain)General Contractor license or LEED experience is a plus
