Primary Responsibilities
Calling customers to obtain paymentsPosting customer payments by recording checks, and credit card transactionsUpdating receivables by totaling unpaid invoicesMaintaining records of invoices, debits, and creditsResolving collections by examining customer payment plans and payment historyKeeping organized and detailed documentation of all correspondence with customersHandling customer disputes in regards to payments or invoicingHandling all Liens and documentation of such records
Position Requirements
1+ year(s) of experience with QuickBooks Pro® (most recent versions) and Microsoft Office Suite1+ years of experience with bookkeeping and collection activitiesOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, including proper pronunciation and grammar, and a consistently courteous and professional tone of voice at all timesBilingual, is preferred but not necessary Polite, confident, and excellent customer service skills, including listening and questioning skillsExcellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailVery self-motivated and goal-oriented multi-taskerCapability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented office environmentAbility to learn new software, including Xactimate® and proprietary softwareAbility to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Hours - In Office
40 hours/week, flexible to work overtime when required, varying between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Pay Rate
Competitive pay based on experience.
