    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Senior Cloud/DevOps Engineer to support the Defense Information Systems Agency Citadel mission by designing, automating, securing, and maintaining modern enterprise infrastructure and cloud-based platforms in a highly secure DoD environment.

    The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with expertise in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and DevSecOps practices. This role will work closely with systems engineers, software developers, cybersecurity teams, and government stakeholders to modernize infrastructure and improve operational efficiency across mission-critical systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    Design, deploy, and maintain secure cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments supporting DISA Citadel operationsDevelop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application and infrastructure deploymentsImplement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, or similar toolsBuild and maintain containerized environments using Docker and KubernetesAutomate system provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and operational workflowsSupport DevSecOps initiatives by integrating security controls and compliance checks into deployment pipelinesCollaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance with RMF, STIG, and DoD security standardsMonitor platform performance, troubleshoot infrastructure issues, and optimize system reliability and scalabilitySupport cloud migration, modernization, and technology refresh initiativesDevelop technical documentation, SOPs, architecture diagrams, and deployment proceduresParticipate in incident response, disaster recovery planning, and operational readiness activitiesMentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement efforts

    Required Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)8+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, platform engineering, or systems automationExperience supporting DoD or federal government environmentsStrong experience with:AWS, Azure, or hybrid cloud environmentsCI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOpsTerraform, Ansible, or similar IaC/configuration management toolsKubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration technologiesLinux administration and shell scriptingMonitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, or GrafanaExperience implementing DevSecOps and automated security practicesUnderstanding of RMF, STIG compliance, ACAS, and DoD cybersecurity requirementsActive Security+ CE or equivalent DoD 8570/8140 certificationActive Secret clearance required

    Job Description:

    Semper Valens Solutions is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer. The successful CAD Drafting Engineer will provide onsite and remote support for multiple Force Protection System (FPS) Family of Systems (FOS) to the IBD-SS program. We are looking for motivated self-starters who want to join a team dedicated to excellence and continuous progress

    Responsibilities:

    Perform Solidworks modeling and drafting with knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning &
    Tolerancing (GD&T)Demonstrate a good understanding of engineering processes with a continuous process improvement mindset.Assist with all engineering BOM Development and maintenance.Maintain and create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and 2D and 3D digital models of
    mechanical equipment designs, using measurements and specifications all in Solidworks.Verify the accuracy of existing drawings, calculations, and engineering change requests (ECR).Update existing drawings from approved ECR's using Solidworks.Establish drawings in appropriate indenture level within the PDM tool.Coordinate directly with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements, verify design
    details, and recommend modifications as needed according to company standards and best practices.Annotate and verify all numerical designations and specifications in technical drawings and schematics,
    using both CAD programs and manual calculations when necessary.Provide support to engineering team as needed by creating technical drawings and digital models within
    deadlines and utilizing multiple methods to ensure deliverables include all relevant design details.Assist in ongoing project to standardize and unify design document standards by participating in meetings
    and preparing presentation materials as necessary.Participate in Configuration Control and Engineering Review boards.

    Required Education/Experience:

    AA/AS required (additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)Must have 4 years of relevant work experience.Proficient in SolidWorks with at least 3 years of hands-on experienceShould be familiar with the CCR-ECP processProven ability to convert drawings from auto CAD to SolidworksExperience with mechanical drawing from the system level

    Job Description:

    Semper Valens Solutions is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to support a large Air Force, IT enterprise, Cyber Weapons System/Program in San Antonio, TX.

    Duties:

    Design, deploy, and manage virtual cloud infrastructures across hybrid environments (on-premises and cloud) such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud (IaaS & PaaS).Ensure integration of multiple Cloud teams, processes, and instances to meet a holistic solution.Maintain and optimize virtualization platforms like VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, and cloud-native virtualization solutions.Automate deployments and configurations using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.Provision, maintain, and scale cloud resources in AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Monitor cloud resource utilization to ensure cost efficiency and scalability.Troubleshoot and resolve system, application, and infrastructure issues, performing root cause analysis as needed.Ensure infrastructure meets security, compliance, and operational standards within a DevSecOps framework.Support CI/CD pipelines and integrate infrastructure automation into the development lifecycle.Implement and manage containerization and orchestration technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, for microservices architectures.Configure and maintain monitoring tools to ensure system and application availability and performance.Identify and implement optimizations to improve efficiency, reduce latency, and enhance system uptime.Apply security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), network segmentation, and encryption, to protect hybrid cloud infrastructures.Assist in audits and compliance initiatives (e.g., RMF, NIST, ISO 27001).Document procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting steps to enhance knowledge sharing.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth and development initiatives.Other duties as assigned.

    Required Skills & Experience:

    Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.Proficiency in virtualization technologies, including VMware, Hyper-V, and OpenStack.Strong expertise in US-Gov/DoD cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.Solid understanding of containerization (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes).Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.) and incident management.Familiarity with networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, VPNs, and firwalls.Practical knowledge of DevSecOps principles, methodologies, and best practices.

    Qualifications:

    Requires BS and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience, additional years of experience will be accepted in lieu of a degree.Must have a DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).Must have an advanced cloud certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer for example).Must have an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI

    Preferred Skills and Certifications:

    Cloud Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer. Security Certifications: CISSP, CEH, GIAC or Cloud Security Automation (GCSA).Experience with security frameworks (e.g., RMF, NIST 800-53).Knowledge of scripting or programming languages, such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.Familiarity with log management and monitoring tools (e.g., Splunk, Datadog, or ELK stack).Experience with SIEM and/or SOAR tools and capabilities.

    Travel:
