Select Sires, Inc. is currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Processing Technician. This hourly, non-exempt position is at our Plain City, OH facility and reports to the Manager Non-EU Semen Packaging and Cryopreservation.
Specific duties and responsibilities of a Processing Technician include, but are not limited to,
Serve as a positive representation of the Select Sires, Inc. Mission and Core Values.Use jet print system to print bull and collection data onto straws.Fill, seal, rack, freeze, and store straws Update inventory using proprietary software.Move product to appropriate storage location.Maintain liquid nitrogen levels in storage tanks and shipping containers.Move large inventory tanks.Detect and report defective material or questionable conditions to the packaging supervisor.Maintain work area and equipment in clean, orderly condition.Follow prescribed protocols and safety regulations.A Processing Technician's work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM. Work schedules and duties are subject to change to meet departmental needs.

High School Diploma or EquivalentPrevious experience working with liquid nitrogenPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF A PROCESSING TECHNICIAN:
Ability to seldomly (0 - 1 hours) sit, push/pull over 100 lbs.Ability to frequently (3 - 6 hours) twist, floor lift (0-17"), knee lift (18" -29"), waist lift (30" - 36"), Chest Lift (37"-60"), carry 11 lbs. - 20 lbs. Ability to constantly (6 - 8 hours) stand/walk, bend/stoop, work in cryogenic environments

POSITION SUMMARY
Select Sires, Inc. is currently seeking candidates to join our team as a Livestock Technician. This hourly, non-exempt position is based at our Plain City, Ohio facility and reports to the Production Supervisor.
Starting Wage: $19.00+ per hour
