Job Summary:
At SES our equipment mechanics play a crucial role in keeping the jobsites moving. This position requires a skilled individual who can troubleshoot and repair various types of heavy equipment; excavators, dozers, off road dump trucks, track loaders, skid steers, etc. Must be familiar with the electronic and hydraulic systems of these machines and be able to repair and maintain in good working order.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Adjust equipment and replace faulty partsPerform preventative maintenance on equipment and trucksPerform major repair work when necessary, including but not limited to replacing engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions, and braking systemsReporting damaged or faulty equipment to managementMaintain detailed recordsDiagnosing faults using computerized testing equipment and analyzing resultsAbility to identify mechanical problems, either visually or with computer diagnostic equipmentPerform tests on specific parts and systems to confirm proper mechanical function; ensures that all critical parts are examinedRepresent the Company in an ethical and proper mannerPerform all duties in an independent manner with minimal direction and supervision by consistently showing ability to recognize and deal with prioritiesRecognize and perform duties which need to be completed although not directly assignedWork well, and maintain cooperative working relationships with the managers, employees, vendors, suppliers, and customersMonitor, inspect, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal operation. Job Summary:
The primary function and responsibility of the Project Support Engineer will be learning to be a master of the role they are working towards through providing support to Foremen and Project Managers. The ability to be self-motivated while learning and performing physical field tasks will be an important part of the learning process. Time will be split between our new state-of-the-art office and repair facility and traveling to the various job sites throughout the region.
