Our growing client is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join their team in the Nashville, TN area. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with an established and growing company looking for a dependable HVAC professional who can diagnose, service, repair, and install commercial and/or residential HVAC systems.
Position Overview
The HVAC Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting, servicing, repairing, maintaining, and installing HVAC equipment. The ideal candidate will have solid field experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the ability to work independently while providing professional service to customers.
Responsibilities
Perform service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC systems and equipment. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related problems and determine appropriate repairs. Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections. Install and replace HVAC equipment, components, controls, ductwork, and related systems. Read and interpret equipment specifications, wiring diagrams, and installation documentation. Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and other team members. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Follow all company safety procedures and applicable HVAC codes and regulations. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of hands-on HVAC experience, although highly motivated technicians with less experience may be considered. Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills are required. Experience with electrical systems, refrigerant circuits, compressors, motors, controls, and HVAC equipment is preferred. EPA certification is strongly preferred. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. Candidates must be dependable, professional, and comfortable working independently in the field.

The Commercial HVAC Foreman will oversee day-to-day field operations on commercial HVAC projects, providing leadership to HVAC technicians and installers while working closely with project managers, customers, subcontractors, and other trades. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise commercial HVAC installation crews on active job sites. Read and interpret mechanical plans, blueprints, specifications, and equipment documentation. Coordinate daily work activities and ensure projects remain on schedule. Perform and oversee the installation of commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, controls, and related mechanical systems. Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet company standards, project specifications, and applicable codes. Coordinate with project managers, general contractors, electricians, plumbers, and other trades. Identify job-site issues and provide practical solutions. Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment. Assist with material planning, equipment layout, startup, testing, and commissioning as needed. Train and mentor less-experienced technicians and installers.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of commercial HVAC installation experience, with previous foreman or lead experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, equipment, ductwork, piping, and installation practices is required. Candidates should be comfortable reading blueprints and mechanical drawings and have the ability to effectively lead and communicate with a field crew. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required. OSHA or other relevant safety training is a plus.
