    Job DescriptionJob Description

    The Lead, Guest Services collaborates with a staff team to help create a safe, healing welcome center environment for Program Ministries in a Christian residential program. This position helps lead a team that provides information, referrals, and support services for our Ministries guests. They are responsible for providing leadership for the guests, overseeing volunteers and activities, maintaining the facility’s safety and cleanliness.

    Scheduled: Monday – Friday, 2:00PM – 10:30PM

    Target starting pay: $27.42 per hour

    How you will serve

    · Provides direct supervision during weekly check-ins with Guest Services Associates I and II.

    · Actively resolves problems with team members and guests.

    · Leads team meetings as needed.

    · Develop and implement training resources to support the Guest Services Associates team’s growth.

    · Collaborates with Guest Services Manager to establish and implement goals for assigned areas.

    · Oversee and update all documentation for the Guest Services Team

    · Oversee scheduling in Teams for Guest Services Associates Team.

    · Uphold the guidelines of the Mission, confronting guests and leading them to self-evaluations when necessary.

    · Train staff on front desk responsibilities, procedures, and customer service protocols including guest intake processes.

    · Collaborate with team members and leadership to develop, revise, and implement policies and procedures.

    · Support a positive, pleasant, and Christian atmosphere while participating in its grace-based ministry.

    · Oversee proper handling of guest communication, including mail and phone messages, protecting the confidentiality of guests.

    · Complete emergency intakes, enrolling new guests in Clarity as needed.

    · Records a thorough record of events during each shift for End-of-Shift report.

    · Assist with holiday event preparation and coordination.

    · Make keys for the rooms as needed.

    · Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

    · Participate in organizational meetings, training, and initiatives as required.

    · Perform other duties assigned to support the Mission’s success.

    How you qualify

    · An associate degree is required. A combination of education and 4 years of experience may be substituted.

    · 3 – 5 years of customer experience is required

    · One year of experience in de-escalating emergencies and crises required.

    · Two years of experience working within a social services environment, with specific familiarity with any of the following areas, is preferred.

    · Previous experience working in a Rescue Mission context is preferred.

    · Microsoft Office Skills required.

    How you will serve

    · Administer, monitor, and develop programs under the Guest Care purview: Case management, Recovery Case Manager.

    · Work closely with the Senior and Assistant Directors to establish and implement goals for program ministry.

    · Work collaboratively across disciplines to identify individual needs to be addressed to facilitate effective program planning.

    · Maintain and improve community contacts to ensure referrals to community providers and support networks.

    · Provide organizational, spiritual, and administrative leadership to all direct reports, including training, development, hiring, scheduling, goal setting/evaluations, and performance management (including corrective action)

    · Maintain accurate and confidential records, disclose limited guest information as required by outside entities.

    How you qualify

    · Bachelor's degree in Social, Behavioral Sciences, or a related field is required. A combination of education and seven years of relatable experience may be substituted for a degree.

    · Five years of experience as a Case Manager or a related role in a recovery program is preferred.

    · Two years of previous supervisory experience are required.

    · Proficient in working in a CRM system (Clarity is highly preferred)

    · Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel is preferred.

    The After-Care Case Manager I will work with a team to help create a safe, healing environment for guests in a Christian transitional living program and those outside of program. You will be assigned a caseload of guests, where you will help individuals reintegrate safely back into society. While also partnering and establishing relationships with internal and external resources to provide the best care and transition for all guests.

    Scheduled: Monday – Friday 8:00AM – 4:30PM

    Target starting pay: $25.39 per hour

    How you will serve

    · Manage a caseload of individual guests in a transitional living and/or recovery program, meeting with each guest on a weekly basis and maintaining electronic and paper files for each guest.

    · Process intake assessments and screening of guests for transitional living.

    · Provide crisis intervention information, chemical dependency case management, and referral help.

    · Help coordinate and facilitate support groups, Bible studies, addiction recovery curriculum, and classes.

    · Develop housing stability plans in partnership with guests and outside housing resources as needed.

    · Support guests with finding work, budgeting, and guest responsibilities.

    · Stay knowledgeable of available services in the community, establishing and maintaining communication with those partners.

    · Create data and narrative program reports on guest outcomes and programmatic successes.

    · Facilitate community visits with clients as assigned, to include signing up clients to meet with community events and providers.

    Job Summary

    The Children and Youth Services Associate II is responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of programs for children, youth, and their families at all Women & Children’s Ministries (WCM) program sites. The goal of this program is to help children and youth be spiritually sound, academically strong, and socially skilled.

    Scheduled: Monday – Friday, 10:30AM -7:00PM (with some potential for flexibility)

    Target starting pay: $23.69/hour

    How you will serve

    · Assist the manager in developing programs and curriculum to support the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the children and youth in our enhanced and recovery shelters.

    · Implement programs including weekly Bible clubs, ongoing discipleship, educational support, and activities for school breaks.

    · Assist with planning and coordinating monthly family activities.

    · Coordinate the childcare team for special events, including Hope Place graduations.

    · Establish and maintain excellent communication and relationships with WCM guests and staff.

    · Support volunteers assigned to this program.

    · Maintain appropriate records and documentation.

    · Ensure that all site programs and activities operate consistently with the Mission's mission statement, corporate goals, and core values.

    · Participate in organizational meetings, training, and initiatives as required.

    · Perform other duties assigned to support the Mission’s success.

    How you qualify

    · Associate’s degree required, bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

    · Minimum of two years of experience working with children or youth.

    · Experience with trauma-informed care for children or youth preferred but not required.

    · Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office technology.

    · Possess a valid Washington State Driver’s License and be able to meet the standards of the Mission driver criteria required, including but not limited to:

    o Clean driving record.

    o Have a License for at least one year.

    o No current suspensions or revocations.

    o At least 21 years of age.

    Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand and/or walk, balance, twist, climb ladders, stoop, kneel, perform overhead work and reaches with hands/arm. Frequently work for extended periods of time in indoor and outdoor settings with varying temperature environment. Frequently uses judgement and memory to make decisions. Occasionally you will sit and keyboard. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds and walks, use stairways and climb to multiple floors carrying tools and equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
