    Position: Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Worker

    Function:
    Performs maintenance and repairs on Ground Support Equipment (GSE) under the direction of a higher-grade worker. Troubleshoots malfunctions using conventional and digital test equipment, including multimeters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools.

    Prepares equipment for storage and transportation and uses automated maintenance data systems to document equipment records and maintenance actions. Maintains external fuel and grounding systems.

    Conducts scheduled and unscheduled maintenance; inspects, tests, and operates GSE to determine serviceability. Services equipment with fuel, oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid, refrigerant, water, and compressed air. Removes, disassembles, repairs, cleans, treats for corrosion, reassembles, and reinstalls components and accessories. Applies stenciling and markings in accordance with technical publications.

    Handles, stores, labels, and disposes of hazardous materials and waste in compliance with all applicable environmental regulations. Operates and services GSE towing vehicles and maintains associated records. Provides dispatch support by positioning equipment to support aircraft maintenance and flight operations. Maintains tool control, Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention, housekeeping, and safety standards at all times.

    Qualifications – Corrosion Control Focus

    Auto Body Painter certification or Navy Paint and Finish qualification preferred.

    Experience performing corrosion control.

    Ability to operate a walk-in blast booth and hand blast cabinet.

    Performs preventative maintenance on support equipment.

    Must pass a work/respirator physical and be medically cleared to wear a respirator (failure to obtain clearance may result in disqualification).

    Must provide required tools and toolbox in accordance with the contract tool list.

    Must be eligible to obtain a Secret Clearance.

    Required Experience

    Minimum of two (2) years of experience working on automotive or mobile equipment.

    Required Education

    High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate.

    Senior Electrical Engineer

    Seabrook Solutions is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to provide contract support to our customer, MESA Associates. This position serves as a design lead with responsibility for the preparation and completion of discipline engineering designs and supporting documentation; such as design criteria, calculations, and specifications.

    Work Location and Travel Requirements

    This is a remote position. Candidates must reside within an approximate four-hour driving radius of Chattanooga, TN. Candidates will be required to travel to Mesa Associates office in Chattanooga and to customer sites periodically as needed to attend in-person meetings, group work sessions, and site inspections/evaluations.

    Required Qualifications

    · Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET-accredited college or university.

    · 10-15 years of progressive electrical engineering experience.

    · Current Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.


    Responsibilities & Qualifications

    · Identify, analyze, and resolve routine to complex technical problems within the electrical engineering discipline.

    · Possess aptitude for computing and design.

    · Possess working knowledge of computers and software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite and software used for specific technical applications within the department. ETAP experience a plus.

    · Experience with Motor Control Centers, Switchboards, and Switchgear preferred.

    · Experience with Low/Medium Voltage equipment preferred.

    · Experience with protective relaying is preferred.

    · Ability to lead projects with minimal oversight is required.

    Position Description:

    Technical experts and managers over system(s) maintaining a broad knowledge of related work issues, such as environmental and safety requirements, systems integration, monitoring and metering concepts. Maintains state-of-the-art technical expertise in the mechanical engineering discipline. Responsible for keeping NASA Performance Monitors apprised of significant systems status and key events. Develop scope, work statements, specifications, and packages for procurement of outsource technical consulting, operation/repair, or other services. Provides expert advice regarding Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I) programs for system performance, operational deficiencies, and methods to increase reliability and improve efficiency. These services may include end user support of compute, mobile, and print devices.
