• Performing related duties as required but accepts only those nursing assignments that are commensurate with his/her educational preparation, training, experience, and nursing licensure laws.
• Drawing and processing blood from patients for analysis or other medical purposes. Performing venipuncture, including the process of starting/completing intravenous lines. Ensuring all sharps are secured, accounted for, stored, and disposed of according to institutional and national policy.

RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST Description of Duties The contractor shall be responsible for, but not limited to: • Perform routine radiologic procedures ordered by the medical staff for the adults in custody at the institution. • Transmit, retrieve X-ray images and reports electronically, and scan reports into the Bureau Electronic Medical Record (BEMR). • Receive training to retrieve radiographic consults from BEMR and schedule them to perform all radiographic procedures. • Work with the adults in custody from a variety of cultural, religious and ethnic backgrounds. • Evaluate radiographic equipment for calibrations and repairs. • Possess knowledge of basic emergency situations that may occur during special radiographic procedures. • Schedule exams and maintain records. • Possess knowledge of various pathological abnormalities as demonstrated by radiographic imaging. • Independently assess and select technical exposure factors and positions necessary to obtain a proper quality diagnostic exam.
