As an HP Indigo Press operator, you will set up, adjust, and operate semi-automated printing machines and prepare items for the next step. This position is responsible for ensuring quality standards are met and only products meeting company standards are passed onto the next step or packaged to ship to our customers.
This role will need someone who has strong order process knowledge, attention to details, accountability, teamwork, and a forward-thinking mindset.
Responsibilities for HP Indigo Press Operator:
Efficiently operates HP Digital Machines, including but not limited to setup, printing, and light machine maintenance as necessaryOperates packaging/labeling, production reporting processes, digital printing, laminating, and die cutting operation for preco pressQueues files in the computer, batching orders by type and grouping them by similar jobs to minimize scrap and machine down time and ensures appropriate dies are in placeSets up and adjusts machines for proper operationTroubleshoots any issues related to the process and/or quality, consulting with supervisor and/or technicians for effective problem solvingEnsures that the proper supplies, both Bill of Material and non-Bill of Material items, are being used for printing (i.e., inks, dies and foils)Demonstrates flexibility and commitment through cross training and helping other departments consistent with business needsAccurately logs scrap and other information as requestedPerforms duties safely and in accordance with company safety policies
