Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Paralegal for a well-respected public agency in San Diego. This position is a full-time onsite temporary role based in San Diego, CA. POSITION OVERVIEW: The Paralegal will support a busy legal department by managing a combination of litigation and transactional tasks during a period of high demand. This role requires a skilled professional who can adapt quickly, follow direction, and work independently with minimal oversight. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, a solutions-oriented mindset, and the ability to execute in a fast-paced environment. PERKS: Competitive hourly compensation of $40/hr. Temporary assignment with the possibility of extension based on department needs. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform a mix of litigation and transactional paralegal tasks to support ongoing legal matters. Draft, format, and manage legal documents, filings, and correspondence. Coordinate case materials, maintain case files, and ensure accurate document control. Support legal workflows by organizing information, timelines, and task lists. Prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced and sometimes chaotic environment. Execute assigned work independently, reliably, and with strong attention to detail. QUALIFICATIONS: Prior experience performing both litigation and transactional paralegal duties. Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management. Ability to multitask, follow direction, and complete tasks with minimal supervision. Bachelors degree required. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This is a temporary position offering a competitive hourly rate of $40/hr. Benefits are available for eligible Scion Staffing temporary employees, which may include health, vision, and dental depending on assignment length. This is a full-time onsite role based in the Grand Rapids, MI area. Relocation assistance is offered for qualified candidates outside the region. POSITION OVERVIEW: The RPG Programmer / Systems Analyst will support core business operations by developing and maintaining ERP and MES systems while delivering critical data insights for leadership. This role blends hands-on programming, systems support, and cross-functional collaboration within a production-focused environment. Manage user setup, system security tasks, and IBM i administrative activities. Assist with integrations across third-party platforms, including shipping, eCommerce, and label systems. QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years hands-on experience with RPG programming is required. hands-on exp with EDI setup, troubleshooting, and partner configuration experience. Strong SQL and relational database skills. Proficiency with advanced Excel, including data analysis. Any exp with Power BI is a plus. Experience with Infor ERP XA or Mapics and Paper-Less MES preferred. Familiarity with IBM i Power Systems or equivalent is a plus. Ability to collaborate effectively and troubleshoot technical issues across departments.
