As a Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will drive company trucks in order to make timely, safe deliveries to customers. Deliveries are within a 150-mile radius and you are home every night. Pay is every week, hourly and based on experience.

    Responsible for safe delivery of product using company provided trucks, 53' van trailers and box trucks.Checking delivery receipts for accuracy.Drivers are responsible for maintaining a safe driving record, adhering to all DOT regulations including use of e-logs, daily recordkeeping and maintaining current medial certifications.Our drivers assume the role of company representative while at our customers site. Maintaining appearance and a high level of professionalism is a must!

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
    Operation and care of forklift in a safe manner; must be qualified to properly operate the forklift. Complete and document a forklift inspection form before the operation of each forklift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Complete necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain neat, orderly, and safe stacking of stock in storage areas and when loading and unloading trailers. Loading and unloading trailers as needed and checking the products quality as well as accurate quantity. Keep the warehouse clean and organized and free of debris and safety hazards. Sweep out and maintain cleanliness of trailers; report any issues to the supervisor. Use Encore program to load/unload trucks, bill loads, and accuracy for the inventory. Follow schedule to ensure goods have accurate quantities, good quality, and are getting to the customer on time. Make recommendations for optimizing the schedule to meet cost, quality, delivery, and service goals. Comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and maintaining good housekeeping throughout the warehouse. Ability to work overtime as needed. Additional duties assigned by your supervisor or management. Regular and predictable attendance.
    REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILIITIES:
    Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English. Ability to write short correspondence and communicate effectively. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and employees of the organization.     The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible to make sure that all units are banded properly and have a clear visible load tag on them when being loaded and that there are no broken or missing straps on the units. This position Stages units in the warehouse and loads/unload trailers in a safe and efficient manner. This position will be responsible to perform a visual quality inspection on items and ensure that units and truck counts are accurate on the trailer/ carrier and also that all paperwork is accurate. This position performs our last visual quality inspection of all items loaded & unloaded.

    While performing the duties of this job in the plant, the employee is exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the plant work environment is usually loud.
