Main Responsibilities: This Senior Customer Project Manager is accountable and responsible for managing from complex Prefab Customer project orders to exceed customer expectations through project execution. This includes initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing of customer projects (Customer Project Process). Individual in this position confirms and manage customer project to deliver an Integrated Package scope of work including, and not limited to Electrical Enclosures (e-Houses) with electrical distribution and automation control systems, HAVC and fire and gas systems, plus additional customer features and services. Manages complete job process from order preparation, thru manufacturing release, product shipment, post shipment support and financial reconciliation utilizing a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and processes. Takes ownership for validating the project's scope of work, schedule, cost, and contract terms with the customer, including, risks, technical and commercial elements and becomes lead contact for customer during project execution. (Project Initiation). Develops and maintain project organization, schedule, risk register and communicates with the customer to ensure expectations are being met. Direct engagement with the customer internal manufacturing facilities and third-party vendors. (Project Planning). Monitor the execution of the customer's project order, verifying execution of the project through kick-off meetings, project schedule, communication to all parties and exchange of technical requirements and project plan information. Manage decision making process towards the best cross-functional compromise and effectiveness. Drives Risk and Change Managements, solves problems with customer interaction that results in positive feedback and improved relationship. (Project Execution) Lead the monitor and control of the performance of the customer's project through its lifecycle. Key activities include task completion verification, project team monitoring, managing the exchange of project updates across the project team members, schedule reporting, issue resolution, and contract administration. Monitor project progress against the plan and establish regular reports to key stakeholders. Measure and reports project performance indicators (Monitor and Control Project Work) Lead the closeout of the customer's project to include financial reconciliation, verification of job site equipment arrival, installation and start-up coordination, and training support completion. Point of Contact with the customer, and coordination with support services such as field services, after-shipment support, and training functions. Captures lessons learn and documentation approvals for future projects. (Project Close) Utilizes a base knowledge of Schneider Electric products and their use and demonstrates an understanding of the fundamental knowledge, processes and terminology needed for effective project management Who will you report to? Schneider Electric provides service vehicles, tools, uniforms, mobile devices, and laptops for daily professional use. This opportunity is a site-based position with occasional nonstandard hours. There is a 40-hour guarantee (+Overtime), with most work occurring at customer sites. This Field Service Representative position will be within our U.S. Services business, focusing on servicing equipment supporting power distribution and critical power infrastructure. As a Field Service Representative, a typical day for you might include: Pre-site, startup, repair, preventive maintenance, and field modification of equipment Problem solving with customers, electricians, sales partners, technical support, District Service teams Completion of field service reports, expense reports, preventive maintenance, and startup data sheets Working with your Manager and/or Regional Service Director to resolve complex escalated issues Continuous learning and training on various products both in the field and in the classroom On some days, you may even: Travel throughout the region for local customer support or even countrywide travel. This includes overnight travel by vehicle/air. Assist senior technicians and support Project Management on larger system start-ups Work alongside larger teams of FSRs and collaborate with Project Managers on higher complexity projects Act on behalf of the District Service Manager to resolve operational issues as required This may be the next step in your career journey if you have: An Associate's degree, trade/vocational certification, Military training or similar experience in electrical-related disciplines. The ability to read blueprints/schematics Thorough understanding of principles of AC and DC power, various AC and DC supply circuit components 2+ years of field service repair and customer service with UPS (Uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems, power distribution and switchgear, seamless automatic transfer switches (ATS), power distribution units, electrical, electro-mechanical or electronics related equipment 2+ years in Field Services or equivalent industry experience. Must possess good safety practices and adhere to the company's safety procedures/polices (lock out tag out, comply with all safety programs and complete safety related trainings on time. Identify hazards present in the work area and report all safety matters, incidents, near misses, to management or safety representative. NFPA-70E or OSHA experience is preferred Safe driving and vehicle operations skills Skilled at utilizing test and diagnostic equipment Experience reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and operation manuals The ability to write service reports, correspondence, procedures, effectively present information and respond to customer questions. Work frequently requires strenuous physical tasks, including bending, stooping and lifting and carrying items weighing up to 40 pounds. Work outside in a variety of environmental extremes such as heat, cold, rain, and dust. Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time, including working in small confined spaces. English proficiency required to communicate with customers and team members. Proficient in basic computer skills and systems including but not limited to Microsoft Office: Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel; and the ability to navigate and utilize company digital tools and resources.
