    The Splunk engineer is expected to use Splunk software in his/her everyday job for searching, monitoring, and analyzing machine-generated data. Splunk is being used for metrics, diagnosing problems, and pulling data from repositories on our servers from tools such as CASPORT, LATTEART, JIRA, and CONFLUENCE. This data is being assembled into dashboards. Role Responsibilities:
    Administer Splunk clusters
    Upgrade the tool when required
    API data calls
    IAVA support CentOS7 to RHEL8 upgrade
    Moving to AWS
    Pulling logs for servers
    Creating dashboards and briefing material using Splunk data
    Role Requirements:
    Scripting Experience (python etc.); pulling data from tools via RestAPI
    7-10 years of experience. Candidates will be considered for DevOps and Splunk multi-role if they possess the skills. Required Clearance: Candidate must have a TS/SCI polygraph clearance Pay Range: $202,000-$215,000

    SCD Information Technology is seeking a Document Scanner for a Brand New Contract located
    in Annapolis Junction, MD. The ideal candidate shall assist with manual scanning and indexing of hard copy documents
    provided by Security & Counterintelligence (S&CI). TS/SCI with CURRENT POLYGRAPH IS A MUST Responsibilities: • Process hardcopy security related documents. • Prepare documents to be scanned (i.e., remove folders from boxes, remove paperclips and/or staples, remove pages from dossiers and loose-leaf notebooks, insert folder and document separator sheets). • Scan all pages in the appropriate order. • Reconstruct each file after scanning (i.e., remove separator sheets and replace pages in files in the correct order.) • Add the stop sheet to the scanned file. • Index all scanned documents within 24 hours of completing the scan of all pages. • Keep a summary of all documents scanned for inclusion in larger report. • Assist other LCATS as requested. Qualifications: • One (1) year experience working with basic office resources (email, web browsers, word processors, presentation graphics, etc.) and a High School Diploma or GED. Must be comfortable sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to perform tasks that involve repetitive motion of the fingers, hand, arms, feet, legs, or other body parts.     Join a team providing Life Cycle Sustainment (LCS) and modernization activities for commercial and custom-developed education, learning, and training applications supporting the Government enterprise. Description: Gain a deep understanding of the various technologies, COTs products, and tools for the education, training and learning applications being maintained.
    Independently identify and address issues, even in situations with limited information.
    Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing tasks and project status.
    Use technologies such as C#, AWS (Amazon Web Services), .NET, SQL Server, and Git to make improvements and ensure system functionality.
    Debug existing software to identify and resolve defects and issues.
    Investigate, troubleshoot, and analyze user-reported problems and find potential solutions.
    Conduct upgrades to keep the software systems up to date with the latest technologies and standards.
    Document changes, updates, and solutions for future reference and knowledge sharing.
    Perform testing and quality checks to ensure the reliability and stability of software modifications.

    Qualifications: TS/SCI with Polygraph
