YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Our Journeyman Electrician - Utility Lineworker is an essential part of our electric team, tackling various troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, and repair projects for medium- and high-voltage systems. Servicing overhead and underground lines, substations, and other equipment, you get everything working perfectly while strictly following all safety procedures and guidelines. You collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople when appropriate to complete high-quality work on time and within budget while documenting your services. As you diagnose problems, complete repairs, and splice, terminate, and test cables, you skillfully tackle whatever challenges come your way!
DO YOU FIT THE BILL?
Journeyman lineman and high-voltage certification4+ years of experience as a high voltage electrician, including apprenticeshipStrong understanding of electrical principles and safety proceduresAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsAbility to move heavy objects, be in all kinds of weather conditions, and work from heights or confined spacesAbility to work independently and with a teamExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsHigh school degree or equivalentValid driver's licenseA Michigan journeyman license would be preferred.
