  • Traveling Customer Support Representative  

    - Lincoln

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionThe Traveling Customer Support Representative’s primary objective to travel to auction sites and manage the online bidding process of Equipment Facts, connecting the auctioneer at the physical auction sale to people bidding online. This position will require high amounts of travel. This position also will earn commission Traveling Customer Support Representatives will be capturing and entering inventory, bids, and selling information prior to, during, and after the auction. The Representative may also be required to perform various duties including but not limited to speaking with bidders about inquiries and concerns they may have regarding the auction process. The Representative may also be required to train and understand our products in order to provide appropriate service to customers. This position will involve a lot of customer service and contact with our management and sales staff to lead the live auction process.   • Call Dispatcher

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionCall dispatchers will be responsible for fielding incoming phone calls to all of Sandhills phone lines. It will also cover all customer service-related calls and mail and address changes. A daily responsibility will be phone number lookups and address corrections. It could also involve re-qualifying existing customers, and to educate customers on our products and services. Call dispatchers at Sandhills also are responsible for covering reception duties at the front desk. This includes greeting guests and connecting them with the person they are visiting. This position requires professionalism, and a high degree of individual responsibility and customer service. Assume other duties as assigned.

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQUALIFICATIONS:
    •Knowledge of the cattle and feedlot industry required
    •Ability to travel both air and surface -- valid driver’s license required
    •Comparable experience or Associates or Bachelor Degree preferred in Business Administration, Agribusiness, Economics, Finance, Management, Marketing or other related field.
    •Stable and progressive work history
    •Experience with basic computer word processing & spreadsheet programs
    •Excellent oral and written communication skills and negotiation skills both in person and on the phone
    •Ability to gain knowledge of the products and customers within the industries we serve

    The Cattle Buyer Field Marketing Representative’s primary objective will be to identify large commercial feeder cattle buyers within the feedlot sector. The position requires them to build relationships & educate these buyers on their ability to both procure feeder cattle through our products including LivestockMarket.com as well as market finished cattle. In addition to in person meetings, the position is also responsible for handling in-bound and outbound customer calls, and email communications with those customers. The Representative will also be expected to sell opportunities for these feedlots to market cattle on LivestockMarket.com and AuctionTime.com.
    This position requires travel across North America to feedlots to educate customers in person. Travel expenses are covered per Sandhills Global travel policy. The position is based out of Lincoln, NE and report to this office when not in the field.
    The Representative will gather information on shows and meetings in the industry as well. Researching the livestock industry and the proper way to list the information on our site will be done in addition to providing feedback from the industry. The Representative must work as a team to help assure the success of the websites and publications.
