    Who We Are

Sand Point Child Development Center (SPCDC) is a small, independent, non-profit preschool located in Northeast Seattle that has been in operation for over 40 years. Our preschool is open year-round with three classrooms - Toddler, Young Pre-Kindergarten (YPK), and Pre-Kindergarten (PK) - and a huge outdoor natural play area certified by the National Wildlife Federation as a Backyard Habitat. The school is licensed by the state of WA for 23 children from 18 months to 6 years old.

We embrace a community based mindset where teachers, children, and families work closely together to create a warm, play-based environment that promotes the development of our students. Our small center allows for purposeful interactions between teachers and children where creativity and imagination are honored.
