    Job Title: Practice Manager

    We are looking for an experienced, proactive, and highly organized Practice Manager to help lead the daily operations of San Tan Allergy & Asthma. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong healthcare operations professional who enjoys building efficient systems, supporting providers and staff, and creating an outstanding patient experience.     About Our Practice

    San Tan Allergy & Asthma was established in 2005 and is based in Gilbert, Arizona. The practice provides evaluation, testing, and treatment for a wide range of allergic and immunologic conditions, including asthma, respiratory concerns, food allergies, skin conditions, and immune deficiencies. The team offers services such as in-office skin testing, patch testing, food allergy testing, allergen immunotherapy, biologic therapy, and oral immunotherapy. We are committed to a patient-centered approach with individualized, evidence-based care.

    What You’ll Do

    Lead daily office operations and help keep workflows efficient, organized, and patient focused.Guide staff scheduling, PTO coordination, onboarding, performance support, and day-to-day team operations.Partner with providers to support scheduling, on-call coverage, meetings, and operational needs across allergy, asthma, and immunology services.Oversee supplies, vendor relationships, facility needs, and essential office services, including support for clinical testing and treatment workflows.Support financial operations, including billing coordination, payroll support, reporting, cash flow monitoring, and insurance contract administration.Manage credentialing-related processes, CAQH maintenance, andrequiredannual renewals.Help maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and other healthcare standards as well asinternal protocols.Respond to patient concerns with professionalism and help promote an excellent patient experience for pediatric and adult patients.Support EMR-related processes, including updates, implementation, and template coordination.Serve as the final manager on site each workday to help ensure the office is closed properly, staff needs are addressed, and the facility is secure before departure.

    What We’re Looking For

    Business orHealthcare-related certification or degree, or equivalent relevant experience.3–5 years of medical office or practice management experience.Strong knowledge of medical billing and coding, insurance processes, and revenue cycle workflows.Experience with EMR or EHR systems and healthcare office technology.Understanding ofHIPAA, OSHA, and general healthcare regulatory requirements.Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, oranother specialty medical practice.Familiarity with provider credentialing, CAQH, and payer contract coordination.Experience supporting compliance programs, audits, or quality reporting.Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software to manage practice related financesWorking knowledge of specialty-practice workflows, billing practices, or clinical office operations.Experience supporting services such as allergy testing, respiratory testing, food allergy evaluation, or immunotherapy workflows is preferred.

    Pay Range

    The expected pay range for this position is $60,000-70,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and specialty-practice background.

    Schedule

    This is a full-time, on-site position based on practice operating hours (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 8:00am-5:00pm, Wednesday: 7:00am-5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am-3:00pm). The schedule may include early start times, end-of-day closing responsibilities, and occasional flexibility to meet operational needs. The Practice Manager is expected to remain on site through the close of business.

    Prepare patients for visits by reviewing medical history, documenting concerns, taking vital signs, and updating patient information in the EMR.Assist providers during examinations, procedures, allergy testing, respiratory testing, and other clinical services as directed.Administer injections, medications, biologic therapies, or immunotherapy treatments within scope of practice and according to office protocols.Perform or support clinical testing such as skin testing, patch testing, food allergy testing, spirometry, or other allergy and asthma related workflows as trained.Provide clear patient education regarding treatment plans, medications, allergy care, asthma management, immunotherapy instructions, and follow-up needs.Document clinical care accurately and promptly in the EMR while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA requirements.Support prescription refills, prior authorization requests, lab orders, referrals, patient messages, and follow-up communication as appropriate.Maintain clean, stocked, and organized exam rooms, testing areas, treatment areas, and clinical supplies.Follow infection control, OSHA, HIPAA, medication safety, and practice protocols to support safe and reliable patient care.Communicate professionally with patients, families, providers, and team members to help create a respectful, efficient, and patient-centered environment.

    What We’re Looking For

    Current Medical Assistant certification, LPN license, RN license, or equivalent clinical training and experience, as applicable to the position.Previous clinical experience in a medical office, outpatient clinic, specialty practice, or similar healthcare setting preferred.Comfortable working directly with patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult patients.Strong documentation skills and experience using EMR systems.Understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, infection control, and general clinical safety standards.Excellent communication, organization, teamwork, and patient service skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience in allergy, asthma, immunology, pediatrics, family medicine, urgent care, or another outpatient specialty practice.Experience administering injections, immunotherapy, biologic medications, or other treatments within scope of practice.Familiarity with allergy testing, spirometry, respiratory care workflows, food allergy evaluation, or immunotherapy protocols.Knowledge of prior authorizations, prescription refill workflows, lab coordination, and patient follow-up processes.BLS or CPR certification preferred, or willingness to obtain if required by the practice.Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred, but not required.

    Pay Range

    The expected starting pay range for this position is $18-22 per hour, depending on experience, credentials, licensure, clinical skills, and specialty-practice background.

    Schedule

Once a month, a provider travels to our Payson satellite clinic, and one back-office staff member joins on a rotating basis.
