    Samuels is in search of candidates with a proven sales track record, particularly in generating recurring revenue through long-term client relationships. You will manage a team of sales professionals and support staff at Samuels and Son Seafood, focusing on increasing sales and profitability through strategic planning, training, and overall management development. This hand-on role involves acquiring and maintaining your own customer base for sales and marketing purposes, as well as integrating yourself and developing relationships with the company's current customers.

    Essential Job Functions:

    Requirements:

    The accounting team at Samuels Seafood Co. is currently seeking an Accounting Assistant to join their growing department, working a Tuesday through Saturday schedule.

    Position Overview

    The Accounting Assistant's primary role is to support the Accounting Department in the areas of both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, to ensure accurate recording of customer billing/credits/adjustments, cash receipts, and vendor invoices/payments.

    Key Responsibilities
    Provide accounting and clerical support to the Accounting DepartmentProcess documentation provided by drivers in their daily driver bagsRecord and track freight related expensesProcess return credits and price adjustmentsProcess bills of ladingEnter cash receiptsCollect, file, and track vendor documentsVarious special projects as requested by management
    Qualifications
