Starting Rate: $85,000 DOEPosition Summary:
The Assistant Electrical Service Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, execution, and closeout of electrical service projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract documents, codes, and company standards. This role serves as a key liaison connecting field operations, clients, vendors, and internal administrative teams.
Job Responsibilities:
Project CoordinationSupport and manage multiple service projects from start to finishCoordinate scheduling of technicians, materials, and subcontractorsManage project progress and maintain accurate schedules, logs, and documentationReview work orders, service tickets, and scopes for accuracy and completenessEstimatesAssist with preparation of estimates, change orders, and service quotesPerform quantity takeoffs and pricing researchMaintain organized project files, drawings, RFIs, submittals, and closeout documentsAssist with contract review and help clarify scopeJob CostsMonitor project budgets and cost codesTrack labor hours, material costs, and equipment expensesAssist with billing, invoicing, and job cost reportingIdentify cost overruns or discrepancies and report to Lead Project ManagerQualifications:
A solid base of knowledge developed through education, management experience, or hands-on experience in construction or electrical industries. We value a range of relevant experience and welcome candidates who bring strengths in any of these areas.
