    This south Georgia medical center is seeking a full-time Cardiologist to join two other board-certified cardiologists with additional support from two NPs. Ideal candidate would be an Invasive/Non-Interventional Cardiologist or an Interventional Cardiologist.

    • Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience

    • Bonus: 100% of practice profits

    • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8 AM 5 PM; time is split equally between clinic and cath lab (2.5 days in clinic and 2.5 days in catch lab)

    • Patient Volume: On average, 14 patients per day in clinic; Hospital patients vary per day.

    • Call: Call required 7 days per month; Shared with other fellow cardiologist; Extra pay for extra call.

    • Opportunity to precept medical students and residents

    • Clinic/Hospital Facilities: The clinic is located within walking distance of the hospital campus. The Hufstetler Heart Center lab features state-of-the-art equipment, including a GE Myospect Nuclear Camera!

    • Additional Facilities: physicians lounge with meals provided; a 24-hour all-access employee gym; and a state-of-the-art medical education center with simulation labs, a conference center, and more!

    • Completion or upcoming completion of cardiology fellowship

    • Required Certifications/Licensures: Board-certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 4 years); Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact

    • Echocardiogram

    • Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE)

    • Cardiac catheterization

    • Pacemaker and ICD insertion

    • Cardiac computerized tomography (CT) scan

    The cardiology program is recognized as the region s leader of advanced cardiac care. The program s dedicated team of medical professionals have performed more cardiology procedures than all other Southwest Georgia hospitals combined.

    Key Features:

    Comprehensive and Multispecialty Heart and Vascular Center

    Experienced APP support in the clinic - 8 APPs, 6 in Albany and 2 in Americus, GA

    TEE support strongly preferred

    Call 1:4 weekend coverage

    Heart & Vascular Team comprised of:

    2 Vascular Surgeons, 1 Electrophysiologist

    2 CV Surgeons, actively hiring for thoracic surgeon

    3 Interventional Cardiologists

    5 Non-Invasive Cardiologists when fully staffed in Albany, GA

    Full range of cardiac programs: Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CTA, Structural Heart and EP

    Imaging modalities include:

    transthoracic, echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram, nuclear imaging, Cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, procedural intervention with structural procedures, such as watchmen, complicated TAVR, mitraclip

    Nuclear, transthoracic, echocardiogram, and transesophageal, echocardiogram most frequent in terms of volume

    Level 1 Emergency Cardiac Care Center, Level 2 Trauma Center

    Will participate in regional outreach

    Willing to discuss part-time and per diem interest too
