Qualifications
3-5 years of industry experience in Software Engineering, AI ethics, AI research, Applied research, ML, DS, or similar rolesDemonstrated ability to think adversarially, ability to anticipate how malicious actors might misuse AI systems and develop corresponding test scenariosExperience creating heuristic-based detection logic and rules for identifying anomalous or suspicious activity in production systems and networks (e.g. log analysis, user behavior analytics)Experience with problem-solving and troubleshooting sophisticated issues with an emphasis on root-cause analysisExperience in analyzing sophisticated, large-scale data sets and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiencesProven organizational and execution skills within a fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environmentExperience working in a technical environment with a broad, cross-functional team to get results, define requirements, coordinate assets from other groups (design, legal, etc.), and deliver key achievementsExcellent written and oral communication skills, as well as social skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.Works well under pressure, and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environmentExperience using SQL and relational databases. Minimum Qualifications
10+ years in partnerships, GTM strategy, product management or strategy, management consulting or corporate development (minimum 3+ years in partnerships).3+ years in leadership roles with direct responsibility for hiring, managing and scaling high-performing teams.Proven track record of closing complex, high-impact partnerships that drive user engagement, enterprise adoption, and scalable business growth.Strong 0→1 builder mindset — you’ve helped launch and scale new platforms, products, or ecosystems.Exceptional communication and executive presence; ability to influence and align diverse stakeholders across functions.Experience leading in fast-paced, ambiguous environments where creativity, velocity, and precision matter.

The Salesforce legal team delivers innovative, trusted and outstanding legal services to advance and protect Salesforce’s interests, while building a fulfilling legal work environment. Salesforce seeks to hire an in-house lawyer for the AMER region to join the Global Employment Legal Team, reporting initially to the AMER VP. The position will provide legal counseling to the Employee Success and Employee Relations organizations and the business, and collaborate to resolve disputes in the AMER region. The successful candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be highly responsive and adaptable, have the ability to prioritize and satisfy deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding work environment, and show excellent, practical business judgment.
This role is open to be office-flex to Salesforce’s offices in New York or San Francisco; remote will not be considered.
Responsibilities
Provide advice on employment related matters, which may include: hiring and recruiting, investigations, discipline and termination, leaves of absence, disability accommodation, wage and hour, anti-discrimination, compensation and benefits (including sales compensation plans and bonus programs), non-competition and non-solicitation, use of AI tools in employment practices, federal and state contractor compliance matters, protection of confidential information, and other issues.Handle legal demand letters, charges and other disputes.Collaborate with other employment attorneys on disputes and litigation.Evaluate and work with outside counsel on employment related matters, including litigation.Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies.Participate in and influence the decision-making process with appropriate clients and stakeholders.Consistently anticipate, communicate and propose mitigation strategies for potential risks in active projects. Identify and assess legal risks and opportunities.Handle legal projects ranging from basic to sophisticated.Recognize when to elevate certain matters to the attention of the legal leadership.Educate clients on legal matters, policies and procedures.Establish and maintain relationships, credibility and trust with clients, legal team members and other colleagues.Travel to team meetings in San Francisco or other scheduled locations.
Required Skills/Experience
5+ years of legal practice in employment law.Excellent academic credentials.Member of at least one state bar, including state of work location.Experience providing employment law advice, including practical applications and issue-spotting.Experience in employment litigation in one or more states, including California, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, New York, and/or Washington.Experience responding to federal and state/local agency charges.Experience preparing employment policies and training materials.Proven ability to provide tailored, practical, and commercial advice in a user-friendly manner.Experience supporting multi-jurisdictional projects.

At the more tactical level, this role is designed to lead and manage an AMER Services operating unit portfolio in its entirety - driving utilization, bookings, and revenue across the OU. Salesforce is hiring a strategic and hands-on Sr Manager/Director, Product Marketing to join our Partner Marketing team. This unique role lets you shape the narrative and drive adoption of the Salesforce Platform for our Independent Software Vendor (ISV), Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), and strategic partners. Reporting to the AppExchange and Global Partner VP of Marketing, you'll be a key individual contributor, responsible for positioning the partner Platform vision and products, and empowering our global partners to build and grow successful businesses on Salesforce. This includes collaborating closely with partner Business Development to articulate the value proposition of new partnerships.
This role focuses on driving the growth and success of the Salesforce Partner Ecosystem. You'll empower partners to build, partner, promote, and distribute innovative Agentforce AI solutions and a wide array of other products and applications built on the Salesforce Platform, leveraging powerful distribution channels like AppExchange and AgentExchange.
The ideal candidate is an expert in product positioning, a passionate evangelist, and possesses a deep technical understanding of the ISV, OEM, and strategic partner market landscape. You'll use strong analytical skills to transform data into actionable messaging and compelling moments, inspiring CEOs, CIOs, founders, and other key decision-makers at partner organizations to embrace business growth and innovation built on the Salesforce Platform.
As a Sr Manager/Director, Product Marketing, you'll be crucial in driving the success of the Salesforce Platform within our partner ecosystem.
You Will
Define and Execute Strategy: Work closely with Salesforce Product Management and Marketing to outline and implement comprehensive strategies and content that clearly articulate our marketing vision internally and externally for ISV, OEM, and strategic partners.New Partnership Promotion: Collaborate closely with our partner Business Development team to craft messaging and promotion strategies for new partnerships, ensuring clear and compelling narratives for prospective and existing ISV, OEM and strategic partners.Content & Messaging Leadership: Develop compelling external content, messaging, and visual presentations that help our internal teams drive partner revenue. This includes first call decks, event content, website copy, blog posts, thought leadership research, promotional materials, and customer case studies. You will also lead messaging efforts for the broader Partner Marketing organization, ensuring consistency and impact.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner daily with Product Marketing teams to build content, monitor performance, deliver presentations to diverse audiences, become a product expert, and conduct market research. You'll also collaborate with wider Cross-Cloud Product Marketing, Events, Corporate Marketing, Analyst Relations, PR, and Research teams to execute integrated content and programs. You will be an active and contributing member of the Partner Marketing leadership team.Product Expertise & Evangelism: Become a relative expert on the overall market landscape and the Salesforce Platform suite of products, with a strong technical understanding of its capabilities and how partners can leverage them to build innovative solutions, including those utilizing Agentforce. You'll be comfortable presenting to small and large groups, generating excitement and mindshare with various internal teams, and will be looked to as a go-to expert. You'll also champion partner success on our marketplaces like AppExchange and AgentExchange.Performance Monitoring: Track and measure the impact of campaign efforts, identify opportunities to improve the quality and methods of product marketing deliverables, and optimize delivery.
Minimum Requirements
10+ years of experience in Product Marketing or Industry Marketing, with at least 5 years in a technology company.Demonstrable experience with, knowledge of, and passion for digital marketing, advertising, data, and technology.Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand and articulate complex platform capabilities, including Agentforce, and how they enable partners to build and list solutions on AppExchange and AgentExchange, to both technical and non-technical audiences.Highly analytical with a strong intellectual curiosity for using data to inform strategy and execution.Exceptional communication, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences and functions; proven ability to simplify complex concepts.Proven track record in crafting compelling product positioning and messaging.High energy, compelling presenter, innovative, and creative mindset.Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.Ability to successfully drive projects with minimal guidance and present to leadership.Self-motivated, comfortable with rapid change and thrives in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor's degree.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $155,400 to $257,600.

The Marketing Automation Platform & Data Operations team operates within the Marketing Technology organization and is instrumental in ensuring the trusted, transparent, and reliable platforms that empower our company to achieve its innovation goals. We are focused on proactively addressing challenges related to platform reliability and operational efficiency, particularly concerning our critical Marketing Technology ecosystem.
Given the importance of incident management and the criticality of our technology, our team requires an experienced and self-motivated Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the highest standards of Trust and Security. This role will collaborate with Platform Operations and Platform Engineering to improve the reliability, performance, and scalability of our systems by implementing and maintaining automated solutions for monitoring, incident response, and system optimization, as well as contributing to strategic planning and technology decisions.
What Are We Looking For?
Role Overview: As a Lead Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our critical software systems and infrastructure within an enterprise IT environment. You will serve as a technical leader, bridging software engineering and system administration, with a particular emphasis on monitoring, visualization, and alerting tools such as Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, New Relic, Tableau, and PagerDuty. You will take ownership of service reliability, lead incident investigations, and drive automation initiatives to enhance system stability and operational efficiency.
Technical Expertise:
Monitoring and Visualization Platforms: Deep expertise in Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, New Relic, and Tableau for proactive monitoring, alerting, and comprehensive visualization of system performance and reliability metrics.
Salesforce Ecosystem: Experience managing reliability and performance within the Salesforce ecosystem, including the Salesforce Platform, Slack, Data Cloud, Tableau and Heroku.
Cloud Infrastructure: Extensive experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for infrastructure management and monitoring.
Coding & Scripting: Advanced proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Go, Java, or equivalent, focused on automation and monitoring integration.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proven capability using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Kubernetes for infrastructure automation and provisioning.
CI/CD Pipelines: Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD processes to ensure reliable and efficient software deployment (Jenkins, Copado, Gearset).
Operational Skills:
Incident Response: Leadership in incident investigations, driving swift resolutions using incident management tools, particularly PagerDuty.
Service Level Objectives (SLOs): Expertise in defining and managing SLOs and SLAs, utilizing monitoring tools (Datadog, Splunk, New Relic) for accurate tracking and reporting.
Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Strong skills in documenting best practices, incident responses, and operational procedures using tools such as Wikis, Notion, and Tableau dashboards.
Problem Solving:
Root Cause Analysis: Expertise in conducting detailed root cause analyses using data from monitoring and visualization tools like Splunk, Datadog, Grafana, and New Relic.
Troubleshooting: Advanced troubleshooting capabilities across infrastructure, leveraging insights from comprehensive monitoring systems.
Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify and implement automation and process improvements to enhance reliability and reduce manual efforts.
Vendor and Relationship Management:
Collaboration: Excellent ability to collaborate across teams including developers, platform engineers, architects, QA, and operations, maintaining alignment and effective communication.
Stakeholder Engagement: Act as liaison among product, engineering, and operations teams, emphasizing reliability insights derived from platforms like Tableau and Salesforce Tableau.
Disaster Recovery and Incident Management:
Escalation Management: Primary point of contact for escalations related to reliability, utilizing PagerDuty to ensure rapid and structured incident responses.
Disaster Recovery: Active participation in developing and executing disaster recovery plans with continuous monitoring and alerting using the above-mentioned tools.
Communication and Leadership:
Effective Communication: Strong verbal and written communication, especially in presenting complex technical insights through platforms such as Tableau and Salesforce Tableau.
Mentorship: Demonstrated capability in mentoring junior engineers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on proactive monitoring and reliability.
Innovation and Continuous Learning:
Industry Trends: Continuous learning on industry advancements, especially relating to monitoring, observability, and visualization technologies.
Knowledge Management: Contribution to internal training, documentation, and knowledge-sharing practices, leveraging detailed analytics from monitoring and visualization platforms.
Flexibility:
Adaptability: Capability to manage shifting priorities in fast-paced development cycles while maintaining operational excellence and composure.
Minimum Qualifications:
8+ years of relevant industry experience, emphasizing monitoring, alerting, and visualization systems.
Advanced expertise with Datadog, Splunk, Grafana, Tableau, New Relic, and PagerDuty.
Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience managing reliability within the Salesforce ecosystem.
Proven ability in incident escalation and disaster recovery management.
Strong relationship-building skills across technical and business teams.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in Enterprise-scale environments, particularly with Salesforce technology (Heroku, SF Platform, Data Cloud).
Familiarity with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and log management (Elastic, Logstash, Kibana).
Relevant industry certifications (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).
