  • Aviation Project Manager (P.E.)  

    - Huntsville

    Job DescriptionJob DescriptionHuntsville, AL ï Full-time ï Civil EngineeringSain Associates is looking for a civil engineer who specializes in Aviation design to manage site projects. In this role, you would be working closely with the design team to produce high quality engineered plans in Civil3D for both aviation and site development projects.
    Typical design projects could include new taxiways and runways, taxiway and runway rehabilitations, GA ramps, and NAVAID design coordination. As the project manager, you would delegate design tasks to the team and coordinate grants and other documents with state aeronautics officials and the FAA ADOs. You would also develop trust with current Aviation clients to build this practice group.
    About the TeamOur Site Practice Group serves a diverse market including large industrial developments, office buildings, private commercial developments, municipal work, master-planned residential subdivisions, and airports.

    Must HavesLicensed Professional Engineer in good standing Hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering Design experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3DPossess strong written and oral communication skills with English proficiency

In this role, you will work with the Sr. Transportation Planner to build our engineering services in the area as well as partner with our Transportation group in the other offices.During a typical week, you might be writing proposals for new Traffic Engineering opportunities, collaborating with support staff, managing a project's technical details, tracking financial and schedule performance, and coordinating with clients.
