Java / Angular Full-Stack Developer Opal – Customer Pull Ahead Omaha, NE 12+ Months Contract Role Summary We are seeking a Java / Angular Full-Stack Developer to support the Opal Customer Pull Ahead initiative, focused on enhancing proactive customer engagement, visibility, and self-service capabilities. This role will help modernize customer-facing applications that enable early insights, predictive notifications, and seamless interactions across enterprise systems. The developer will work on both backend services and modern web interfaces to support real-time data access, workflow automation, and customer-driven actions within the Opal platform. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Angular. • Build scalable backend services to support customer “pull-ahead” scenarios such as early alerts, predictive updates, and proactive engagement. • Develop responsive, user-friendly Angular interfaces for customer-facing portals and dashboards. • Integrate with enterprise systems providing operational, logistics, and customer data. • Implement RESTful APIs and event-driven services to enable near real-time updates. • Ensure secure data access, role-based authorization, and compliance with enterprise security standards. • Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, and integration teams to deliver high-quality customer experiences. • Support production deployments, performance tuning, and ongoing enhancements. Required Technical Skills • Java (8+/11+), Spring Boot, Spring MVC • RESTful API design and implementation • Angular (latest versions), TypeScript, HTML5, CSS • SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or similar) • Experience with messaging or event frameworks (Kafka, JMS, or equivalent) • Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines • Strong debugging, performance tuning, and troubleshooting skills Preferred Skills
