    At Sage Alliance Schools, we support students in grades 5–12 through rigorous academics paired with therapeutic services. Guided by care, resilience, and community, we prepare students to thrive inside and outside the classroom. Join our team and empower students to succeed.

    As a Behavioral Coach at Sage Alliance, you will play a key role in creating a safe, structured, and supportive environment for students. The Behavior Coach is responsible for the supervision, safety and care of students.

    Through mentoring, role modeling, and guidance, you will help students build decision making skills, manage behaviors, and grow both academically and emotionally.

    What You’ll Need

    Bachelor’s degree preferred in Psychology, Education or Behavioral Science or equivalent experience (i.e. BCBA)

    Experience working with adolescents, ideally in an educational or behavioral setting

    Knowledge of behavior modification techniques and mental health supports

    Strong communication, problem solving, and interpersonal skills

    Ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff

    Ability to remain calm, responsive, and professional in high pressure situations

    What You’ll Do

    Perform non-violent crisis intervention techniques, including verbal and physical redirection, and guidance of potentially physically aggressive students

    Provide students with guidance, support, and structure through mentoring and role modeling

    Build strong, positive relationships with students while promoting respect, empathy, and accountability

    Respond to behavioral concerns and help enforce school expectations

    Support students in developing decision making and conflict resolution skills

    Collaborate with school leadership and staff to maintain a safe environment

    Document student behavior, communication, and incidents in a timely and accurate manner

    Assist with referrals to outside services and support student needs as appropriate

    Utilize de-escalation and crisis intervention techniques when necessary
