    Safran Aircraft Engines designs, produces, and sells, alone or in partnership, commercial and military aircraft engines offering world-class performance. Through CFM International*, Safran Aircraft Engines is the world's leading supplier of engines for single-aisle mainline commercial jets. Safran Aerospace Composites in Rochester, NH is dedicated to the production of 3D woven composite parts, made using the RTM (resin transfer molding) process. The first application of this technology is the production of blades and fan cases for the LEAP (registered trademark) engine, developed by CFM International, designed to power the next generation of single-aisle aircraft. This technology creates less noise and decreases fuel consumption for aircraft engines, thereby reducing greenhouse gas emissions. We do this with energy, passion, and curiosity, and we're backed by our rich heritage and culture of innovation. *CFM International is a 50/50 joint company between Safran Aircraft Engines and GE.

    Position Summary:
    The Maintenance Technician - Mechanical is responsible for safe, quality, and timely repair and preventive maintenance of various types of industrial equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, CMM machines, paint booth equipment, Tomograph equipment, UT equipment, and automated sandblaster equipment. A Level II Technician must work well both with others and independently to minimize downtime on production equipment in a fast-paced environment.

    This is a second shift position, Monday – Thursday, 3:15pm – 1:15am, and includes a 10% shift differential

    Principal Duties and Responsibilities (*Essential Functions)
    •*Perform emergency and routine repairs and preventive maintenance of a, generally, mechanical nature to maintain manufacturing and facility equipment and minimize unplanned downtime.
    •*Install and modify process equipment to engineering specifications.
    •*Perform diagnostics, project work, and other improvement activities in coordination with stakeholders on other teams (Production, Engineering, Quality, etc.).
    •*Comply and maintain certifications, where applicable, with all regulations (OSHA, NFPA), industry standards, engineering specifications, and company policies/procedures.
    •*Perform mechanical-related repairs including, but not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
    •Proficiently fabricate metal pieces, parts, and structures using cutting equipment, welding equipment, and machine tools-with or without prints.
    •Use calibration equipment to validate tool and machine conformance to standards.
    •Apply working knowledge of controls systems to troubleshoot minor machine issues, reset or change machine parameters, and manipulate robots with teach pendants.
    •Perform other duties as assigned.

    Job Specifications
    •High school diploma or equivalent
    •10+ years of related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
    •Strong computer background to be able to assist OEMs in online machine diagnostics.
    •Experience with CNC machine maintenance and alignment preferred
    •Required: Capable machining skills
    •Industrial lift experience preferred
    •Proficient user of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and Outlook


    Working Conditions
    •Lighting and temperature are adequate, outside work can be required.
    •Walking or standing over 50% of the time; frequently required to reach with hands and arms; frequently required to use hands to finger, handle and feel; required to see, talk and hear
    •Required: Required: Ability to lift up to 35 pounds, approximately 20% of a standard work day; may be required to lift in excess of 35 pounds with assistance
    •Eye protection must be worn in manufacturing areas, approximately 90% of a standard work day.
    •Ear protection must be worn during certain operations, approximately 10% of a standard work day.
    •Safety footwear must be worn in all manufacturing areas, approximately 90% of a standard workday.

    POSITION SUMMARY

    The IT Leader is responsible to define, plan (including budget), execute and maintain the IT infrastructure and technological systems of the organization in line with Safran Aircraft Engines (SAE) requirements, assuring compliance with all corporate and local policies and procedures. The IT Leader is in charge to manage IT capabilities (Network and competencies) required to ensure Safran Aerospace Composites (SAC) Rochester local Information system performance (best solution to support functions needs and best possible budget). This position will oversee data management and storage, system architecture, licenses and applications management, users training and subcontractors network performance management.

    This is a first shift position, Monday-Thursday, 7am-5pm

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    •Act as an interface with the domestic and offshore corporate IT/IS team to Implement all SAE-SAC-SafranUSA IT policies and procedures, including architecture, security and disaster recovery plans,
    •Ensure the security of the site's IT systems and data, implementing necessary MSR (Minimum Security Rules) of company's and group global IT security policies.
    •Reports compliance and risk assessment through dedicated steering or rituals as required
    •Lead SAC ROC IT team, define priorities and objectives, evaluate individual performance and manage skills development thru awareness sessions promoting Safran standards knowledge
    •Administer, maintain and document network architecture, including servers, routing, switching, proxy and security to support local activities and deploying/complying with SAE-SAC IT requirements
    •Manage support for ERP and SAE operation applications (SAP, Eprod, 3Dexp...)
    •Directly manage Help Desk and Systems IT Team to support operations for all opening time
    •Monitor current architecture performance through dedicated dashboards and recommend improvements and upgrades
    •Administers back up of systems and archival of data
    •Leads efforts to improve IT processes including technological projects with central IT
    •Prepare financial budgets and present relevant proposals to executives

    SCOPE AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
    •Manage IT team competencies and know how to execute per SAC ROC processes and standards
    •Develops system operating procedures, identifies problems, provides recommendations and implements solutions in compliance with Safran Central IT
    •Understanding of Relational Databases, Application Lifecycle Management and Systems architecture
    •Designs systems to meet strict business up-time requirements and ensure the security of the site's systems and data

    REQUIRED COMPETENCIES
    •BS in Information Systems
    •5-10 years of experience in network/systems administration
    •ERP administration experience required (SAP-EPROD)
    •Advanced knowledge of Microsoft products (Client, Server, Office)
    •Demonstrated understanding of global systems architecture
    •Experience in developing specifications and supervision of new equipment systems installations
    •Experience working with international teams strongly preferred
