We are seeking a General Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will support worksite operations through manual labor tasks. This may include keeping the worksite clean through the collection of trash, operating power tools, setting up temporary structures, or other necessary tasks. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with the ability to meet the physical demands of the job and willing to travel.
Responsibilities
Maintain a clean work environment by picking up trash, excess building materials, or other potentially hazardous productsProvide assistance to onsite tradespeople such as welder, installers, and carpentersTransport heavy materials and equipment from one location to anotherOperate power tools and/or industrial equipmentSet up cones and warning signs to increase visibility Construct, block & level, and tear down temporary structures Other manual labor tasks as required by the foreman or supervisorReport any unsafe conditions or equipment in need of repairQualifications
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects, digging, etc.Ability to work long hours 8-12 hour shiftsAbility to travel weeks at a timeStrong attention to detailExcellent hand-eye coordinationAbility to adhere to all safety rules and regulationsKnowledge of power tools and industrial machinery is preferredStrong teamwork and interpersonal skillsAdditional certifications or apprenticeship experience is preferred but not necessaryBilingual english/spanish is a plus but not requiredMust have a drivers license
